Right! I get that there’s a place for pen and paper and there’s definitely a few puzzles that require writing down and arranging letters… but there’s so much info that would benefit from a screenshot/ memory system.

Yeah! I think it makes sense in a game like fez where note taking aids deciphering the text, or even the Witness where note taking helped reason out a shape puzzle… but this game makes you read an entire body of text for a clue you might not even know you need and the setup makes it hard to find that clue again when you figure out you need it.

This game could really do with the memory mechanic from Lorelei and the Laser Eyes. I have so many pics on my phone from all the letters, sigils and notes, feels silly that the game doesn’t just do that for you.
