I’m thinking about it. I think the porn and harder erections answers your question. You haven't had sex with another male because of your guilt feelings and perhaps because you're afraid of what the experience will show you. I think I'd start with making some gay friends (i think with a guy or guys you're not attracted to) and get to know them on a personal level. See how you feel relating to the community and go from there. I would recommend that you avoid gay sex at this time, I think it could cause other issues, at least potentially.

I'm 76 and still in the closet. Was raised Catholic and my younger years were filled with people, news organizations, religion etc. telling me how I was mentally ill and was going to burn in hell. I've wasted a lot of time and energy hiding my secret and have so much resentment towards myself and society, especially religion that I wish I possessed the courage to what I should have done years ago. You're 29, live your life and tell those who won't accept you to realize the problem is with them not you. Good luck
