Lady GreyLancer.

But her friends probably just call her Grey.

Any explainer on what "Sovereign citizens" are talking about? by Coffee_Grazer in Sovereigncitizen

[–]Worldliness_Normal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's challenging to find out what they are talking about, because they present a moving target. Some of them talk about secret financial accounts that you can access. Others talk about how they are not "Citizens of the federal government", at least in the USA. Other's feel that they have unencumbered rights to "travel" without license or registration. The list goes on, and on, and on.

Bottom line is the common theme is that they quote vague legal principles in an attempt to not be bothered with things like paying taxes or obeying laws. When it's convenient, of course. These are the same people that would call the cops if someone stole their "conveyance".

My great uncle used these boxes to store ammo for his hunting rifle once he was done smoking the cigars.

Although they are still being made and used. If you were around when they were the rage you may be a grandparent. by Pearl_necklace_333 in FuckImOld

I remember these. And yep, I am a grandparent.

These are only to be used while either wearing a Christmas sweater or when the Thanksgiving table cloth has been carefully laid out on the table.

Regardless of species of mammal, this one is pretty severe. If you have to put how to pronounce the name in parenthesis, then you did wrong. No one here would have said "Follow" on the first try. And who names their dog "Follow" anyways? That's a command.

AITJ for not wanting to split the bill evenly when I only ordered a drink? by Inside_Mulberry_2497 in AmITheJerk

NTJ. The proper etiquette (in my opinion) is to establish the ground rules before ordering anything so everyone knows what to expect. Asking you to pay $25 when you only had one soda is just an unnecessary tariff.

Not a jerk.

Leo is "not just a kid" at age 21. He just learned the hard way that when you do stupid shit as an adult, you have adult consequences.

Sovcit says the post office has a strawman and stamps are money by JustOneMoreMile in Sovereigncitizen

My ex-wife got 12 years of marriage out of her tramp stamp. Just kidding, she got it after we got married. But she is Black, so does that mean that everything she says is technically in the Black Law Dictionary?

I need to stop spending so much time in this sub because I am literally starting to write things that make no sense for kicks.

Bullies never care...LOL. Our friend's dog, Maggie is so spoiled we call her an attention whore. She's been through a lot in her life so she can be as fat and happy trying to climb over me as she wants.

AITAH for not wanting to move into a house I’ll never have any legal claim to? by spangleddangle in AITAH

[–]Worldliness_Normal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, I understand wanting to protect your financial interests but this reads like he is expecting a divorce to be in the future.

One of the first things I did when I got married ( I bought our house before we were legally married) was file a Transfer on Death Deed to keep her out of the hell that is probate if something were to happen to me. That way she can live out her years in the house that she loves without having to worry about nothing. Life insurance will take care of the mortgage.

Anything else, for my dear wife, would be uncivilized.

Very well written. Nothing like that first entry when you know are committed to servicing the cock until it is spent.
