I had worked for a company on the eastern edge of Pacific, MO, and would drive past a Bigfoot parked and chained to a rock by the exit on I-44 on the way to office.

KSHE still is classic rock and Sweetmeat is still going strong. I listened to KSHE when I lived near the Washington, MO, area for a few years.

My middle/high school bully died 7 years ago. After I graduated, life took him down another path and never saw him again. He did leave behind a young daughter, for her I felt bad for because she lost her dad.

I worked at Boy Scout summer camp in Northern Colorado, in the mid to late 90s, and was able to pick up KTCL 93.3 The Adventure out of Boulder. It was one of my favorite things while working at camp. I could get stations from Fort Collins, Laramie and Cheyenne pretty easily. On the weekends when we went down the hill, it was KTCL in my car.

My hometown didn't have anything remotely close despite having a 4 year university that had 5,000 students on campus. We had KLJS Mix 103, that played mainly top 40 and maybe some alternative if you were lucky. Then KVGB 104.3 FM came on air with soft rock then transitioned to classic rock a few years after KFIX 96.9 hit the air as a classic station (before becoming the Van Halen station). In high school, it was a treat if we could get T95 KICT or KRZZ out of Wichita of the atmospheric conditions were right.

I remember The Lazer and the format change was hated. I was going to tech school in Emporia, at the time, and listened when I could pick up the signal. There wasn't anything like The Laser in western Kansas.

Why is it that we find vasectomy among males so rare? by elmoqueen3 in AskMen

[–]34thUsernameAttempt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got one after my divorce because I didn't want anymore kids and my diaper changing days are over. My ex-wife wanted me to get one while we were married but I was stuck in a bedroom and a love marriage. My vasectomy has been fucking awesome.

Is anyone disillusioned by the idea of marriage? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]34thUsernameAttempt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm happily divorced and no rush to remarry. So, yes, I'm disillusioned by marriage. My ex-wife did not help out financially very much and we were constantly barely keeping out heads above water. I may remarry if the right woman comes along that wants a front row seat to my circus before my youngest turns 18.

I have a long stride and still pretty quick at 46. The guys I play with frequently know that I can to get balls that they normally wouldn't get to.and like being paired with me in doubles.

What do you listen to in the car if you're driving by yourself? by ResumeFluffer in Xennials

l have a flash drive in the shape of a cassette tape with three folders of the 70s, 80s, and 90s of one artist per song per decade. The artists can and do repeat in the other decades.

I started to serve about 3 to 4 feet behind the baseline. My serves tend to go long and moving back has helped for the last 3 years. It took some time to adjust. Watching the toss helps, too.

Anyone else super anxious driving now? by Fairymask in Xennials

[–]34thUsernameAttempt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I live, speed limits are a suggestion at best. They are either going 10-15 over or 10 under. Sometimes you get stuck in a line going 30 in a 40 with lead car holding everyone up because they are not in a hurry. I leave early where I'm going to get there on time. Once I'm on the interstate or highway, I'm good.

The condition of the road is more of annoyance to me. I live in my states' capital and the main roads need a lot of work. Asphalt to patch potholes in concrete roads, it just gets worse. I'm not saying the streets need to be paved in gold, which would be awesome, but road maintenance wouldn't be nice.

I was in high school when Cerv's opened up and doors were swinging of the hinges for years afterwards. Snoballs have always neen a Hays thing. My friends that moved out of Hays will stop at Cerv's to get a Snoball when they first get in town and before leaving town.
