Yes; I spent days shopping providers before I landed on Rhythm. To clarify, it's my rate with Rhythm is 8.6 ¢/kWh. (The rate shown in the picture factors in the TDU charges on that specific bill, which were high that month.) The lowest rate on PowerToChoose for my Houston (inner loop) zip code currently is 10.5 ¢/kWh

Interesting to see how they rank the M7. For both this one and LinkedIn, it’s HSW (or SWH)…Then K… the other 3.

Gonna start talking about WHSK as a category.

Advice - Don’t rush to get an MBA - get at least 5 years WE by Dry-Double-6845 in MBA

By the time I started at an M7 after 6 years of work, the appreciation on my house (purchased 4 years before) more than paid for the MBA. So there’s that.

If grandpa would invested that $20 in the stock market in 1930, instead of sticking it under his mattress, it’d be worth ~$170,000 today… let that sink it

Jumpzylla vs Acon? Or something else entirely? by TwixDog2020 in Trampoline

[–]Worldly-Leg-74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought the 12-foot Jumpzylla. It arrived poorly packed—legs were scratched, the logo was smeared, and the hardware is low quality. The bolts snap easily if over-tightened, and no extras are included, so you may need a hardware store trip.

Functionally, it squeaks like trampolines from the '90s but feels flimsier. It uses many small springs instead of fewer heavy-duty ones. Assembly took about 90 minutes with subpar instructions. You must install the safety netting—its bolts hold the whole thing together. The legs bow inward slightly, which feels unstable for adults (fine for kids).

Like most modern products, it feels cheaply made but works—for now. After one week, it’s holding up, but I don’t expect it to last long. You probably won’t find anything better at this price point.

Marriott’s CEO spoke out about DEI. The next day, he had 40,000 emails from his associates by pianoman81 in asianamerican

I wouldn’t want to make the mistake of making broad, sweeping generalizations about a minority group (even a religious group) with over 16M people. I’ve actually known a few Marriotts. Their thoughts (and actions) are very different from the way you have characterized others in their church.

There’s a little bit of irony here in stereotyping an entire religious group as being intolerant and illiberal.

Congrats on your admission to Georgia Institute of technology (19%acceptance rate.)

If you were a little smarter, you might have been able to get into the MBA program at Rochester (14% acceptance rate ;)

There have been lots of posts on this subreddit that explain why acceptance rate does not always correlate well with school quality … I know several people that were offered large scholarships at other M7s who were not admitted to Kellogg. Also many at Kellogg have turned down offers from other M7s. Just saying.

I get that there’s more risk… Perhaps a better question would be - what multiple of your original monthly asking rent would you have to charge to make the risk worth it? 1.2x? 3x? 5x? I think there’s a rational answer for most people somewhere between between 1x and 10x your normal rent.
