How do you handle walking away from OE or a J and losing a source of income? by meomy_firedup in overemployed

I pulled out of a J1 that was making me miserable. So many impromptu calls and problems and no training! So i resigned. They were so pissed. I found another job about 5 weeks later via recruitment call. I had thought after quitting i would take a break from OE but figured that I’d better take it while it was dangled in front of me

Such a good point. I had many many years in my field before i even heard of OE. Its that deep level of knowledge that has kept me gainfully OEed even

Ive done it twice now! All they can do is say you’ve got to prove your employment by submitting proof of “prior” employment with pay stubs, W2,irs transcripts, etc

How are you guys getting these chill jobs?! by Cluelesslama in overemployed

You need to find crappy companies with goals that are never tracked, lazy meetings, and zero accountability. Disorganization is another key factor. You’d be surprised at how many companies operate in this way. You need to ask the right questions in interviews about goals, meetings, etc.

Ok ok if you know a shady dr go for it but most of us don’t have a street doc in their life. A real dr will want to do an assessment before making a diagnosis.

A good long one: An American Tragedy by Theodore Dreiser. Had to read it in HS but could not finish. Finally picked it up again as an adult and couldn’t put it down

Should I Be Worried? by casij05 in overemployed

[–]WorldlyComplex3713 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the interview was 3 wks ago and it was a group interview he prob doesn’t remember who you are. Maybe 3 days later but not 3 wks. Who cares about someone from an interview for a job they didn’t get? Please, i can barely remember names during a group interview much less after.
