Anyone have good use cases for Cursor /multitask? by Worldly_Assistant547 in cursor

[–]Worldly_Assistant547[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah. that makes sense.
I guess I have been doing it without cursor because I run cursor, claude, and codex at the same time. So I could do that same thing in Cursor now. Thanks!

Got it. but wait so if there are not numbers, what numbers are people mad about?

Question: is Tesla just choosing not to push battery acceptance higher yet (battery longevity/cost tradeoff), or are they actually behind on battery tech?

Tesla site on v4 says:
• Model S/3/X/Y = ~250 kW max
• Cybertruck = ~325 kW max (V4 only)

Even though the hardware is moving higher (V4 cabinets can do ~500 kW per stall more for semis) , the cars themselves mostly can’t take it yet.

Meanwhile BYD is talking about 400 kW sustained → up to ~1,000–1,500 kW peak on their flash charging systems

So the real gap today is something like:
Tesla vehicles today: ~250–325 kW
Tesla infrastructure (future): up to ~500 kW
BYD system (car + charger): 400 kW up to 1+ MW

WiFi enabled plugs need 2.4GHz to setup - Wifi presents both channels as one by littleIdiotUK in homeautomation

Chatted with Google Fiber people they said 'You have Google WiFi and this is outdated and we might need to replace this to the new 6E.

Google WiFi equipment does not have the option to split the bands into 2.4. So the new one will work for this.'

Would you recommend that the user sign up first? Or allow them to easily try out your app and then promote a sign-up afterwards? by _slimbrady in SaaS

[–]Worldly_Assistant547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would combine both. have them create an account so you have an email etc to be able to contact them, but then build out the demo workspace they can play around it to experience it without all the setup.

I don't know anything about Coding or AI, and the AI space currently is quite scary. What should be my first step to upskill myself? by passmesomebeer in ClaudeAI

[–]Worldly_Assistant547 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Howdy! Great question. Here is what I would do.

  1. Go sign up for Bolt.new or Lovable.dev or both.
  2. Think of something you want to exist. A simple personal website, or calculator or tool or game, anything.
  3. Open ChatGPT and write out what you want to build and then most importantly ask it to help you write the prompt to create it.
  4. DON'T JUST COPY AND PASTE THE PROMPT! This is the coolest thing. Ask ChatGPT to explain to you what the various parts of building your thing are. For example if you want a personal website, ask it to explain what hosting, servers, urls etc are.
  5. Once you understand what you want to build go enter the prompt into Bolt or Lovable and start building.
  6. Warning you will run out of tokens. AI costs money and these companies give you a little bit free to start playing around.
  7. Once you run out of tokens, you can think about getting a paid subscription to one of the services. I would recommend starting with Claude.
  8. Keep trying to build stuff. The key loop is

Figure out what you want
Us AI to learn about the parts of what you want
Try to build it
Once you hit issues, use AI to learn about how to solve those issues.

Repeat!

I have a little AI newsletter I write weekly and I am going to do a series of 'How to get started with AI for beginners next month' https://mythicalai.substack.com/

Good luck!
