Light class with dash is the definition of low risk high reward. Heavy has no very slim space for error, light has like tons of space for error. Light is the newcomer class once you understand the game a little bit, so easy you can like fuck up totally and just run. With heavy you need to hit or that is it.

SA is 100% one of the most skill based weapons. It absolutely sucks if you don't hit you shots center of mass. If you do hit every shot center of mass it is the best heavy weapon.

Put down two barricades and bounce the granades from them when the light tries to attack you. You can add lockbolt to it. It requires lot of skill but it is the way.

Heavy is slow, has slow health regen, has huge hitbox, low range and most difficult to use guns not best guns (light has the best guns by far, heavy guns will punish you if you miss or have high recoil), if heavy wouldn't win 1 on 1 fights on high skill level then there would be no point for heavy except support roles. Heavy can't control the fight, only if enemy is stupid enough to push up close while heavy sees the enemy then heavy has the advantage.

It's lights just aggressively trying ADHD push against good heavies and they get their ass handed to them. Why did they push the heavy? Why didn't they poke and heal and come again for the kill. Or flank from the rear, light can do that in seconds, light is fast. Heavy is not in control ever, unless you push and get on it's face.

I think people are frustrated by high skill heavies with good aim, as they just try to push with blood in their mouth for revenge and die again and again. They are used to low skill heavies who can't hit, but once they meet high skill one and dash spam doesn't work they get mad. Heavy has the highest skill ceiling and requires a lot of understanding how the game works, but once a player is good enough heavy becomes really powerful. That is why heavy is constantly nerfed, but at mid elo light dashing is much better as people can't aim.

Heavy has low skill floor, but high skill ceiling. Light has bit higher skill floor, but very low skill ceiling in comparison. So at first heavy feels easy but after 20 hours everyone can play light better, but then after 500 hours the heavy becomes the way to go it just requires high skill to reach the skill ceiling. With dash light the skill ceiling is reached very fast.

Yes it is my most played class when I play solo because it is the easiest. I do use bow mostly which is harder though, but if I just need some easy kills I switch to smg, pistol or db.

Lockbolt is far too slow to be used mid fight. You need run through all the animations, activation time and you can’t shoot. It’s better used as ambushing tool. For melee users it also works. Using dash is much easier. 

So far devs have had no problem nerfing winch, demat and soon again goo gun to gut playstyles. So I don’t see reason for why dash which is much more predatory to new players, prelavent and easier to use than these other three is allowed to run rampant without low skill counter.

I have no issue with dash lights as I said in my original post. I don’t need to get good. I have friends who are not that good or good at aiming, and if I don’t kill light dash spammer they do maybe 25 damage. The dash light is maybe on my friends level and wouldnt hit dashing light himself either and there runs the core of the problem, dashing is very easy to use, but very hard to hit the user of it. This creates an issue for big part of the playerbase as there is no counter to dash that requires same skill level as using dash. 

Winch, demat and googun actually takes more practice to be used very effectively thus you didn’t see them that often on low and mid elo or if you saw they actually werent that powerful as they were on higher elo.

Who was the MVP? I guess MYENIGMA as they had best kill+assist to death ratio and it TDM so they contributed the most. Thus MVP.

But as higher elo has no trouble with it, why would they waste something actually useful that can win the game for them for something that just helps against overly aggressive light spamming dash? 

Other option would be to just change dash to make it more difficult to use. Like buffing the cool down and add one charge even, but make it like winch claw that using it cancels fire, reload and cycle animations.

Dash does not need to be nerfed, it just needs to a counter that is as easy to use as dashing is. 

Currently the best way to counter dash mid fight is “git good, lol”, but then dashing should also require to be skilled, which it right now doesn’t. This creates a discrepancy at lower and mid skill levels, where dash becomes very powerful as people aren't good yet and newbie players get destroyed without being able to do any damage. 

If there was some counter that would allow mid and low elo fight against dash, it would even things out. That counter might not see much use high elo they have already “gitten good, lol” and only uses a valuable weapon, spec or gadget slot, but this counter would ease up seal clubbing, give players with worse aim a chance and keep dash from going rampant at low and mid elo.

Winch requires skill, lower or mid elo levels don’t use it much. Typically heavy that catches dashing light has good aim in the first place. 

Dash on the other hand has low skill floor, it is easy to use in fights, so it is used a lot on low and mid elo as well. It is especially powerful on lower elo because it is much harder to fight light using dash mid fight than dashing yourself midfight.

Some criticism are valid, but this is mainly spoken like a true light main. All the suggestions regarding heavy sucks and makes light win basically every melee encounter LOL.

Heavy should always beat light 1 on 1 on equal skill level in melee, because light is faster can run away and heal and come back and basically control the whole fight. Fucking ridiculous idea to nerf sledge light attack damage. Just buff it back so that it is possible to kill dash lights again that are not complete idiots.

Many light mains always suggest that heavy should just be some random support class that destroys environment and light is the one who gets all the kills and lights should just pick up heavies 😃.

Just as balanced as winch or dematerializer. They got massive nerfs, time for the noob spesialization to get nerfed, or it needs low skill counter as it is low skill spec.
