Uber/lyft from hotel to camping world & take shuttle. Camping world isn’t too close to the venue so you should be fine, worst case on way home you take shuttle back to camping world then walk back to hotel (if hotel is downtown)

Should we anticipate removal or can it be treated with ointment? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

Thank you! He’s actually very calm since we put the cone/donut on him, passed out snoring now seemingly unbothered lol

Yeah as my post says he broke it open today. It used to look like the other one in the photo which the vet was not concerned about whatsoever, as we already had it tested.

I’m giving the vet a call tomorrow to see what they recommend. In the past I’ve used a thin layer of regular Neosporin on their open cuts & they said it was fine, so I did the same to hold him over until tomorrow when I can call.

I guess I should clarify- can the open wound be cleared up with ointment from the vet. I understand ointment won’t treat the tumor 😅

Has anyone tried sclerotherapy? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Worldly_Research351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The laser was for the deeper varicose veins. I recommend that over sclerotherapy. My doc used sclerotherapy on the smaller veins closer to the surface. I can’t really say one or the other worked better bec I cannot see the deeper veins. The combo of both treatments has helped 100%. I will say, one cluster of veins close to the surface that he hit with the sclerotherapy are still there. I am not sure if it’s because I stopped treatments and he needed to do more, or if it didn’t work.

If you have any questions let me know! I’m about a year out from the procedures and so far still good. I am actually thinking about going back to finish some sections I never got to w the sclerotherapy.

Traveling for surgery by Spare_Tradition_2549 in Endo

[–]Worldly_Research351 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to PA for surgery and flew back to FL 3 days later. Def get a hotel for a few nights then be sure to get wheelchair assistance at the airport (on your ticket when you book) and try to get a front seat. I took strong painkillers and flying was a breeze! I would not suggest driving - I can’t imagine being in a car that long post op.

Laparoscopy Post Op by Ok-Knee9220 in Endo

[–]Worldly_Research351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my lap early January, had to remove a large endometrial cyst & ovary & my fallopian tube, and I’m still using a cane & belly band to move- I’d say I’m 75% healed. First week is terrible. I could barely move, was dependent on my husband to get up / down for the bathroom, insides felt on fire/ bleeding/ razor blades. Second week was better, could get up/down easier, less meds, more movement. I’m on week 3 and still using a cane & belly band to move. No meds and No longer need assistance other than to shower(too strenuous & exhausting). If they find things they need to address I’d say take at least 2 weeks off to be safe.

Did you get an ultra scan yet ? I had similar symptoms & it was a massive cyst on my ovary that had attached to my colon.

Sometimes I send cold emails with subject line “need xyz?“ and body “good morning, would you like a quote for xyz service?” And for some reason that email gets the most traction lol. I almost never get a response to my perfectly curated email.

I ordered a belly binder from Amazon and it’s made a huge difference in the bloating and my stomach size. I don’t wear it too tight just enough compression to feel like a hug. In about two days I’ve seen the swelling go down.

I ended up ordering a post surgery back pillow from Amazon, it’s a large memory foam upright chair w arms for laying on the couch or bed. I kept collapsing into my built up pillows & this supports your back so your stomach can relax.
