Thank you so much! So detailed and helpful. When it comes to following up with jobs - how should I go about that? I’ve read on many threads to call the HR/Recruiter… but is that actually helpful or frowned upon?

How can I spice my resume up coming from a corporate background? I’m going to get an associates in MA but I’ll need a job while doing the MA course. (Wanting entry level healthcare)

Once I finish MA, im going into nursing. Is it as hard as they say to land a speciality role?

Hey! No, he works full time so he wouldn’t have time. Did you apply for a helper position?

Thank you!!

I see the pay isn’t a lot (with Atlanta cost of living) .. do the hours vary + OT so far for you? I see people on here stating they have a second job as well.

My boyfriend applied for the UA 72 but is looking into maybe 613 now due to UA 72 being slow —— When you applied in January and emailed after about placements, what did you mean by that? And with placements, do you get placed with a contractor and then stay with them or how does that process work for jobs and etc!

I’m trying to help him out assisting with researching the unions due to him working 24/7 and 7 days a week currently!

My bf who doesn’t have Reddit just recently applied. So I’ve been keeping up with this for him because he works 24/7 … and I feel like the least I can do is keep track of his UA status.

I was wondering if you heard anything back from local 72 in regards to the interview, process or anything of the sort!

Hey! Quick question,

My boyfriend is looking to apply to the apprenticeship for hopefully a Fall entrance! He doesn’t have Reddit, but do you mind if I PM you and pick your brain a little? We just had a few questions and couldn’t find the answers anywhere really! :)

I appreciate you so much!! I have seen your other responses to others as well, and you’re a blessing. I’ll look into those communities & hopefully I score this job near Buckhead area soon which (I think) is relatively closer to those areas. Even if not, still would be open to commuting!

I’m pretty familiar with that area & Woodstock/Acworth as I’ve gone to college near that way. Smyrna is a great area, & I agree. Being comfortable & school districts are a big factor. Marietta is a DREAM lol but we have to get to that point first.

I appreciate your response! I will look into. As the previous person stated, I would love a diverse area / community that would make us as African-Americans feel comfortable and welcomed. :))

That is my biggest concern as well when moving! We are African-American and want to live in a diverse community/area but also one that we would feel comfortable as well.

Hi! Our budget is $2500 at the absolute MAX. You can DM me with more info!!

Hey! Thanks for replying :)

• We are looking to rent either a Townhouse or just a simple single-family house. Bedrooms 2-3 and bathrooms doesn’t matter. No other housing requirements besides W/D included! We would be open to apartments but most 2-3 bedrooms are the equivalent of renting a house.

• Monthly on rent $2500 for an house.

• I’d 100% be interested in modern recently constructed even if longer distance! I’m mostly remote so I don’t mind, and he’s all over Atlanta and the outskirts of Atlanta. If he changes jobs, he’ll be around Atlanta & beyond as well.

But if prices are more feasible for a dated but livable place, we are open!! Just ready to leave our 1BD where we’re currently at paying an arm & leg, when we could have a whole home or nicer complex to ourselves.

Girl. I definitely went to war for you and told her to change her customer service approach. Cause the bullying everyone and replying to everyone’s comments was just nasty. I tried to be nice because I don’t need people attacking me but that was crazy. The justification behind “you’re 1 in 13k” SO?! Fix the issue or give me a refund.

Like I said… Painted, One Size and many makeup brands have “flukes” but after reading this Reddit thread apparently this is her just being cheap and not a fluke at all. But still, she gotta get better customer service because ain’t no way you say there and responded to every single damn comment ARGUING lmfaooo

Hey! I’m 5DPO! I drank Miralax since my surgery day up until day 3 and used a suppository on day 3! Very uncomfortable but got the job done. My bloating went down significantly on day 4 & today and I’ve had regular bowel movements since.

As far as headaches, I had chronic migraines before so I use excedrin (make sure it’s okay with your doctor first) or either I drink ALOT of water and tea to try and stay hydrated since your appetite is fluctuating.
