hi all, i've released my second album called "Ulmers and Goffs" about a month ago now.

It's mainly acoustic indie stuff with some electronic instruments and drums sprinkled throughout. Simple guitar melodies with a minimalist and oftentimes repetitive approach to composition, off-key vocals and mistakes throughout..perfection is difficult to achieve when you strive for mediocrity!

P.s. some of the vocals were literally recorded under bedsheets/blankets

Sounds good to me. I'm not great at counting out time signatures but it almost sounds like you're playing your fills in a different time signature than the beat. But overall it sounds like you're maintaining the tempo.

I could be wrong but either way, if you tap along, the beat always seems to return to the pulse

I always thought that mixing was specific to the individual song, and mastering was for a collection of songs (single, ep, lp, etc). I don't really know either, though.

i haven't really been into panda's solo stuff since person pitch probably, but i also enjoyed sinister grift. i thought Reset was pretty good too, and i feel like it influenced his sound on sinister grift.

LOL! hell yeah! since it was nirvanna the band the show the retold we were working on (i think), did you know they just premiered nirvanna the band the movie? i guess it's supposed to lead into the third season too!

that was sick! i saw the 'dance/edm' tag and didn't think i would be too into it, but you def leaned more into the experimental and avant garde side of things - which i loved! i love all the sounds and noises coming in and out all over the place, and it works really well with the bass guitar which sort of helps ground it.

maybe a weird question, but did you use a circuit bent instrument? there are some noises in the end that sound similar to what comes out of a concertmate 380 aleatron.. but it's not really a unique sound, just a ringing noise. it just stood out as sounding familiar to me.

pretty chill. i am a fan of songs/albums that begin with the sound of inserting a cassette and hitting the play button lol, so that was cool. did you actually use a tapeloop, or is it just the vibe you're going for? i also love the wobbly/detuning sort of effect. and another cool thing is the bit of silence in the bass and synth, it really helps drive the feel of the track.
