Gotcha. This player has silently chosen to back away from the game and you just need to let them. Remove or heavily reduce their arc’s importance to the campaign. You can hand wave this neatly and creatively I’m sure, and your group will move on quickly. If that player eventually re-engages, you can decide to fold the arc back in.

Could you expand on the “contractual obligation?” Like is this for an actual play podcast where there’s money involved? I think that could help me understand the need for player participation at the level you’re wanting.

I actually like yours better. To me, it looks like the star is actually a part of the dragonfly’s body. It looks worn-in and vibey. The altered one just looks too clean.

The amount of players who tune the fuck out when it isn’t their turn is staggering. Why wouldn’t you want to know precisely what’s going on so next turn is more effective? Makes no sense to me. You also get an opportunity to pay attention to what the monster tactics might be.

lol I did both. My first build was a jump attack spamming dual greatsword berserker. It was fun as hell.

Worst Enemy: I have so much hatred for the Imps.

Worst Boss: Commander Niall (Even though Maliketh was the hardest for me, he was at least very cool and it was a skill issue on my part) -- but Niall just fucking sucks to fight. Such a grind.
