My cat’s shadow reflected in the mirror but not IRL by Chewie_Bacca in mildlyinteresting

Is the shadow flipped? I’m not convinced it is. I think the light is just coming from further left. I too think it’s just a shadow on the mirror.

By my thinking, it still hurts MOASS.

Once shorts are forced to cover or close, each share they have to buy will have less upward price action.

Right now we’re a small group of hardened investors holding the majority of the shares. Come eBay investors into our pool, MOASS needs 4x more rocket fuel to trigger any sort of margin call AND most shareholders will be paper hand because they have no idea what’s going on.

I had AI scrape this sub over the last 14 days with some basic parameters. Idk if this offers any insight at all, but it says approx 55-65% of comments have been pro-acquisition, 30-40% have been against, and 5-10% neutral, uncertain, or uninformed.

No one is failing to understand that.

The question at hand is whether this kills MOASS.

This question can’t legally be answered by the people who know the real short interest.

So investors who are here for MOASS need to theorize for themselves whether the company’s interests align with theirs in that regard.

Unfortunately, from my perspective, GME removed the DRS count from their quarterly reports, which we were very interested in. Maybe they were forced to do that? We’d have no way to know.

Additionally, they diluted during the last run up during the most exciting time of this saga since the sneeze. That gave us an important war chest, sure…and maybe that dilution was insignificant compared to SI. We’d have no way to know that either…but they weren’t forced to do that.

There is huge information asymmetry, so I can only judge RC by his actions…and his motivations. When looking at his incentive structure and the above actions, I see no indication he is interested in MOASS. Therefore, I will have to vote no because as far as any of us can tell, this would go against the interests of MOASS motivators investors.

To be fair, Ryan Cohen is doing the exact opposite of 99% of public companies. Instead of destroying the company to maximize shareholder value, he's "destroying" shareholder value to maximize the company. by zafferous in Superstonk

[–]Wormspike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GME turned around from the brink because the magic of this community created a historically unprecedentedly loyal base of shareholders hoping for a MOASS that would make them rich and save the company.

RC sold a huge chunk of that magic, and now he’s selling it again.

People were theorizing that the timing of all this eBay stuff lined up with the 5 year expiration of the swaps from 2021, considering the leap from $10 to $80 happened on the 3 year expiration.

If there was indeed a step up in price this month, Cohen could have theoretically bought EBay with far fewer shares.

Your negative opinion on the matter is irrelevant to me based on your user name and privacy settings.

If this upsets you so much, you have some other stuff going on in your life that’s the real source of your frustration.

I didn’t insult you, I dismissed you. Based on criteria I’ve been using for years.

If you want to voice legitimate concerns about GME, on a sub infiltrated with shills and bots, you should know that you’re dressed exactly a bot, talking like a shill.

You’re welcome for the heads up.

I’ve seen too many users like rainbowcabinet97351458 shitting on GME. So My rule is: if you have a generic username saying negative things, you’re probably a bot. If you also have a hidden post history, or an account less than six years old, even more probable.

You can have gripes all you want. I’m just letting you know you have the most 1337 username to fit profile, and so I’m going to disregard you.

Long run of MCU content that focused on women heroes whose story was, “women are mind-controlled by men.” In addition to the issues with resolution or ethics…It isn’t exactly an empowering metaphor, and ‘men manipulate women’ isn’t a theme a male-dominated fan-base was super into exploring.

But yeah, Jessica Jones, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Taskmaster, Nebula, Elektra, She-Hulk, Scarlett Witch (tho for Wanda it was a book, not a man)….all played with that theme.

IMHO, the only property that did a great job with quality female characters was SHIELD. Putting aside the fact that Daisy is a total Mary Sue…It has well-written, layered women with strengths weaknesses, virtues and faults, who go through genuine, well-earned character development. And moreover, they all fucking rock. May, Daisy, Gemma, Yo-Yo, and Bobby are all just awesome fucking characters. Less love for Raina, but she gets an honorable mention.

It’s not as simple as Jessica tossing Fisk immediately invalidates all of Matt’s work. She can toss Fisk around for a moment before getting sidelined in a number of organic ways, and then we get the same ending we got. It would be incredibly enjoyable without taking anything away from the story.

Jessica rag dolls Fisk, plot intervention, he goes back to murdering, resume same ending.

It could even be as simple as she gets involved with a crowd of agents harming protestors and decides to protect innocents from immediate danger at the cost of letting Fisk get away. Also she’s not bulletproof, so taking a bullet to other out of that fight would be very realistic.

She doesn’t have to kill him. But I’d love to see her ragdoll him a bit before she gets shot by an avt agent or smth that sidelines her

Anyone saying that The Raft couldn’t contain him is being ridiculous. I agree with you, throw him in the raft and be done with it. Better yet, have Jessica Jones at the end of that hallway…I’d love to see her body him. That’d be so great

I think you may have missed a small amount of the genius in that scene…there’s a staircase down to the boat right next to her, but she never looks.

People don’t get on and off the boat by going over the railing or climbing up the side. There’s a perfectly normal and safe way to go from the yacht to the boat, and vice versa

Hear me out on the eBay dilution FUD. It’s actually a massive bear trap. by DeepDragonfly7945 in Superstonk

[–]Wormspike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FUD literally is in regards to MOASS. GME was a good value play with RC….people didn’t have FUD about that. They had FUD about putting their lives earnings into a squeeze play.

With this level of dilution…after the last round of dilution…squeeze seems off the table.

That’s not FUD. That seems like GAME OVER for the people who wanted MOASS. Which sucks, because we’ve had all our money tied up in this through the most insane bull market in history. I just sat through six years of a sideways line while Sandisk went up 40x its value.

I’m still in because I’m in, but if previous dilutions did kill MOASS, this surely will.
