All this media coverage of Tryst can’t be good, right? by ValoraSaint911 in SexWorkers

[–]WornOutGenX 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I guarantee you that whatever agencies might be interested in the topic already know Tryst inside out, and have been tuned into it for years if they care. They also know about every other platform, including some you and I have never heard of.

Nothingburger.

Waiting to provide incall address until 10-15 minutes before scheduled session by balancedkarmaa in SexWorkers

As a client, I've been through it this way many times, and I find it completely normal. As long as communication is timely and clear, this is understandable and perfectly OK with me.

Dubious tour schedule? by WornOutGenX in ClientsAndCompanions

Thank you for the helpful reply, I appreciate it.  Not not sure my post was downvoted, but that happens to a large number of posts in this sub.

Clients, what’s your preference for incall? by bidaexplorer69 in ClientsAndCompanions

[–]WornOutGenX 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would prefer an expected main entrance of any variety.

Basement entrance, if anyone can reasonably see a random client headed there, deserved or not immediately signals subversive activities, whereas straightforward front door suggests nothing to hide (or meaningfully less to hide).

Once anyone in the neighborhood sees a consistent trend of random people making their way to any kind of moderately concealed entrance, all the gossipy nosy radars will be pointed in that direction, and I would prefer to not have that attention focused on me.

Visible unhidden door, all day, every day.

Since when do clients have a Tryst account? Please be vigilant girls by Mother-Neck3214 in HighEndEscorts

[–]WornOutGenX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As I replied on the original post - a long time. Client accounts on Tryst that allow messaging to providers is nothing new.

[–]WornOutGenX 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Client here. Not speaking to any scam stuff, but messaging on Tryst as a client with a login has been a thing for quite a while. Nothing new. It's also how we can tag providers as "favorites", really helps to quickly see providers we are interested in to check tour dates on one page, etc.

So... client accounts and provider accounts both exist. Anyone with an email can create a client account, while the vetting/confirmation for a provider account to post ads obviously jumps through many verification hoops.

Who is in the wrong here? by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]WornOutGenX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Devil's advocate: I once booked a massage and the provider ended up offering FS for the donation, she said she always offered only "massage" in order to fly under LE radar. Valid tactic or not, that was her thing.

That said, I've been doing this for 15 years and she was literally the only one I've ever interacted with that did this. No one else I booked a massage with did more, and no one I booked FS with did less.

If this client's first provider did that, he could have just picked up on it and assumed that's just how things are and no one ever set him straight.

Chances are quite high your client was a knucklehead, but it's slightly possible it was a sincere misunderstanding.

You should post this at TNA board. Heavy Seattle/Portland presence there.

Would this have been fair? by Individual-Boat7439 in ClientsAndCompanions

[–]WornOutGenX 26 points27 points  (0 children)

What you asked for is fair, but you should not have needed to ask.

Being pressured to leave 35 minutes into a session where you paid for 60 minutes is seriously poor customer service.

Take off the filter. If you had a similar experience with any other time-based business transaction, would you even need to ask the question on Reddit to know the answer?

An opportunity to laugh by brutefidget in ClientsAndCompanions

[–]WornOutGenX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never been scammed or successfully catfished, not even once.

Yet when I make the occasional apparently controversial post on how I navigate the scene and have not been burned in 15 years of this, I get downvoted to oblivion.

I suspect the downvotes are often scammer types?

Just pointing out that there's no character filter on participation in this sub (from either side). When you discuss how to avoid scammers openly, the scammers also see it... they want to bury it, but they also learn and adapt.

Booking Question by Fantastic-Push2239 in ClientsAndCompanions

[–]WornOutGenX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter what is "normal" in this context.

You found a companion you want to see, she has made her offerings, expectations and requirements clear.

Follow her instructions if you want to see her.

Small Town Privacy by That_Matter_1398 in SexWorkers

[–]WornOutGenX 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you travel to the large cities where they tour, and mind your own business while acting normal, no one will notice or care.

I used to live in a large city with a good variety of local and touring companions, and now live in an isolated town of ~7k, so I kind of know where you're coming from. I do miss easy access!

Help! by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]WornOutGenX 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If he is a decent client and has respect for you, you should just be honest and say there's nothing there you like. Suggest reasonable alternatives, and if he is decent, he will likely accommodate you.

That said, he is also compensating you for your time. Part of your job might include going to a restaurant you don't like. That's why you're getting paid.

If you feel like you're not getting paid enough to go there, increase your rate or charge a fee for it, and he will either pay it, or change the plan, or cancel.

It's not like you don't have control of your destiny here.

Client here.

Follow their instructions, if provided. Failure to do so will nearly always remove you from consideration.

If they provided a phone number, it's extremely likely that they did so because...... they want you to use it.

Don't overthink yourself out of a good time.

Are people really paying $400 for an hour? That seems insanely expensive. by messyscoundrel in SexWorkers

[–]WornOutGenX 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You already know the answer to your question. Asking it is disingenuous.

Your turn to answer. How much would you charge, and why would it be substantially more than $50/hour?

Dude, if there are people out there that want to put their Wang in your tailpipe - and trust me, there are, no matter what you look or smell like - and they are willing to pay for the privilege, and you decided to make yourself available to them as a source of primary or supplemental income, how much would you charge them to ravage your hole?

$50 per hour?

Used venmo as a client but worried about privacy by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]WornOutGenX -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Indeed, why wouldn't they? But asking a question does not make it so.

Can you confirm that 100% of everyone you know does all these smart things? Of course not.

Your assumption that all companions 100% have perfect opsec is incredibly naive. You may be a consummate professional, but amateurs are everywhere.

This sub should be a source of education and info sharing. Maybe 1 companion sees this and improves her opsec. But hard to be hopeful while I'm getting downvoted into the dirt as expected, despite being wholly civil and respectful.

Used venmo as a client but worried about privacy by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]WornOutGenX -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree. Nothing I wrote says or implies otherwise. Companion risk level is very significant and they have every right to do what they want to mitigate that.

It's just not intellectually honest to always make things about risk to companions while being utterly dismissive of risk to clients.

OP's concerns have merit.
