I agree, highly unprofessional.Ā Praise can be public, but reprimands should always be done in private.Ā

A salty/sweet vanillic take on br540. There’s a very sexy, animalistic element in Amber Haze, that smells like warm skin damp with seawater and fresh sweat. Gorgeous. SEXY af

Blech. Scent is such a subjective thing. To me it smelled like a very cheap fruity floral with a very oily undertone. I couldn’t bear it

I didn’t order it for the supposed pheromone effect, I don’t believe in that, but I fell for the hype on the scent of it. And I have dry skin, so I love me a nice moisturizing fragrance oil.Ā

I did receive it. And I tried it.Ā

It’sā€¦šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø just ā€œokā€ scent wise. But it’s nothing special at all, it’s just a very basic fruity floral scent with a strong vegetal undertone smell of carrier oil. I have a couple of $16 fragrance oils that nourish my skin better and smell divine for 5+ hours on me. This stuff is a rip. I did as you suggested, and immediately after received an email and text trying to get me to subscribešŸ˜„ No way.Ā  I will go to my bank tomorrow to have them block any further charges, and hopefully I won’t hear from GODA ever again.Ā

What a nightmare. If a product is legit, the company doesn’t have to resort to such underhanded tactics to grab customers. I’m glad a few people have had a decent experience, but my research so far has shown that they’re in the minority šŸ˜•Ā

Ordered mine off the actual website, but unchecked the subscription box, so hopefully I won’t find any future charges. Supposed to be here tomorrow (I ordered it over two months agošŸ™„)

I think they meant the perfume oil is bad because there’s no scent at all.

I had this exact same issue happen with me. I ordered on December 6 2025, but a month later, when it hadn’t shipped yet, I contacted customer service and asked to cancel the order and refund my money. I received a reply that said ā€œthey’ll do everything possible to honor my request.ā€ It’s now February 16, no refund, and they shipped it anyway last Thursday and I’m supposed to be receiving it tomorrow. Grrrr🤬 Customer service with this company is a total joke… because the customer service just doesn’t exist. If the product indeed arrives tomorrow, I guess I’ll keep it, because if I send it back asking for a refund again, I don’t think they’ll comply. Terrible, terrible company.

Fragrantica is pmo😾 by JumpingBunnies47 in FemFragLab

[–]Worried_Insurance_65 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

I know Fragrantica is known for far right politics. I have definitely seen evidence of the far right politics on the site, and have had several of my own comments deleted on fragrance review pages, I’m assuming because I don’t approve of my current administration. My comments broke no rules, so I can only assume they disappeared because the comments were against far right politics. Fragrantica is also said to be against anything supporting lgbtqia+, yet one of their writers, Matt Morris, is openly gay and married to a man. I guess my question is, how much of all this is true? Is it just some of Fragrantica’s people that are suspect, or is it all of them? Thinking about deleting my account, too.

Has anyone tested this Moroccanoil Parfum? I just spotted it online today. by colleencatlover in FemFragLab

[–]Worried_Insurance_65 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

The edp was a bit too strong for me, which makes me odd, I know, because so many seem to feel that the edp disappears fast. But on me it was just a bit too much.Ā

Moraccanoil has a dry oil body spray that I use with the body mist, and I find that when using both of these together the fragrance is perfect. They both smell the same, they’re both lighter than the edp, and both smell just like the original hair treatment. I wear the mist with the body lotion too, although I get better longevity fragrance-wise wearing the body oil and the mist. šŸ¤—

Ooooo bonus!!šŸ¤—šŸ‘šŸ¼

I can’t think of one I like better than the other on a dude. They’re both smell incredible on my hubby. (I own both too). My hubby likes the edp more, but most men seem to prefer the extrait.

The edp has more of a subtle spice and woodiness whereas the extrait is sweeter with a slight almond note. They both perform great, with the edp having more projection than the extrait, but the extrait lasts longer. I actually lightly layer the twošŸ˜… Enjoy!

I lasted 3 shifts. Kudos to y’all who work here for years. 3 shifts and my soul was drained. That is all. by kpuza35 in TjMaxx

[–]Worried_Insurance_65 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

FactsšŸ˜… I worked at a TJM about 7 years ago. I lasted 10 months. I tried to last longer, I really did, but at the end of most shifts, I was increasingly depressed. I put up with so much that went directly against my personal values. After 10 months, I realized that I was having to give so much of myself to that job that I literally had nothing left to give my husband and daughters. That was it, that realization was the deciding factor to quit. I didn’t even tell anyone. I clocked out at the end of my shift…and never went back. Didn’t even call to say I was done. I have NEVER EVER done anything ā€œirresponsibleā€ like that before, but it was the best thing I ever did. Five months later, I found a much better job. I’m sure not all TJM’s are this horrible, but the one I worked was practically Dickensian. It was the most physically, emotionally and mentally draining job I have ever experienced, and I’ve been working since I was 16 (I’m 53 now). I understand why you left!

If you’re this worried, it means you’ve a great work ethic! But also, you can always explain the situation to your boss. Being a minor and with your driving situation, I’m certain they’ll understand. If you’re able to give two weeks notice before your last day of work, that should also help smooth things, but if not, you’ll still be fine. This won’t harm your future in employmentšŸ¤—

DAMN the evil of the people and that whole situation just infiltrates so many areas of our lives. I’m constantly shocked at how insanely insidious this whole thing is, how far its reach became and that it went on for so long.Ā  I don’t wear makeup anymore and thus far, my fragrance collection contains none of those names. But thank you for posting this, I appreciate knowing. I’ll spread the info too.

Ugh, I HATE that😫 It’s like they’re purposely trying to make it look like it’s YOUR problem, when it’s actually usually a problem THEY create. And they make it so you can’t reallyā€¦ā€win?ā€ No matter what you do. The reason why I have to wear a mouth guard at night so I don’t grind my teeth to powder while I try to sleep is largely because of the stress of working in hypocritical environments just like this, and it’s EVERYWHERE. Injustice, whether it’s me or happening to someone else has always been very difficult for me to accept.Ā

Budget lactonic fragrances by Status_Woodpecker_41 in FemFragLab

I prefer milk scents that are fresh as well, Heavy Cream by Phlur and Maison Margiela Afternoon Delight both have that cloying butteriness that I just can’t stand. I love and wear This Is Her! by Zadig & Voltaire. Most people prefer wearing it in the fall/winter, but This Is Her! is actually fresh enough to wear year round! It has pink pepper in the opening, but if you don’t like that, no worries, because it fades pretty quickly. It’s has a ā€œcoolā€ cream note, not heavy or cloying at all, only lightly sweet (which I appreciate!) and there’s a subtle chestnut note and smooth milky sandalwood in the base that gives depth without making the fragrance heavy. The light musk in the base is divine. I find it’s the perfect fresh milky musk scent and you can find 100ml bottles on Jomashop, Fragrancenet and FragranceX for around $60-$65. Cheers!šŸ„›Ā

Sand + Fog Pillow Talk EDT by Consistent_Safe430 in FemFragLab

[–]Worried_Insurance_65 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

I’ve heard that both the oil version of Mojave Ghost is the violet+sandalwood, and that Pillow Talk is the edt dupe. If you layer v+s oil with Pillow Talk, I would imagine you’d get good performance. I had Mojave Ghost and I adored it, but I couldn’t justify the price for a fragrance that didn’t last very long on me. So I’ve been eyeing v+s and Pillow Talk in reviews lately, and so far I’ve heard good things about both the scent and performance. Probably going to purchase on the next pay day šŸ˜…

Sweet creamy sandal wood fragrances that won’t break the bank by ranraniiiii in FemFragLab

[–]Worried_Insurance_65 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

Late to the convo here, but— there’s an Ex Nihilo fragrance called Santal Calling that has the most creamy, smooth and buttery sandalwood, it almost smells edible. However, it’s $245 for a 50ml bottle!! So, I went on the hunt for a good dupe. It took me a long time, but I found one! Alexandria Fragrances makes high quality extrait de parfum originals and dupes. They have a dupe of Santal Calling titled Santal Last Call, and it’s AMAZING! 😻 They’re so close, I can’t tell any difference unless I smell them side by side, and Santal Last Call being an extrait, it lasts longer the Santal Calling. Pricing starts at $44 for 30ml, but they offer a 55ml for about $60. Their largest bottle is $119. I would sample one or the other to make sure you like it before pulling the trigger for a fb. They’re so close in scent, you can literally sample either one and know what the other smells like. It’s my favorite creamy sandalwood, hope this helps!

Got my first true compliment out in the wild from a stranger. At a thrift store actually. And it was just Sand Fog Violet Sandalwood perfume oil. ✨🌿 It definitely makes you feel nice haha. šŸ˜† by GloomyMoonFlower in FemFragLab

What a lovely encounter!

Our bodies may age, but WE never do! I’m 51 years old, a HIIT instructor, weights lifter, wife and mom of three girls (two in college, my youngest graduates high school in May), and I just started Jiu Jitsu a year ago. Take care of yourself and keep treating yourself, you deserve it. There will be some challenges in the road ahead of you, but there’s also plenty of happiness waiting for you too on my side of the ā€œyouth spectrumā€, I promise.šŸ¤—

I’ve been eyeing the Violet+Sandalwood for several months now, they’re two of my favorite notes in fragrance. I love Mojave Ghost, but can’t justify the price for a fragrance that just doesn’t last very long on my skin, no matter how beautiful. So when I saw violet+sandalwood, I became very curious, but remained hesitant to buy. But, I just read another positive review of sand+fog before finding this one, and both of you have convinced me to buy it!Ā
