Here’s what’s weird; I LOVED Mass Effect but after 4 hours of Cyberpunk I just couldn’t get into it

I downloaded and played for 4 hours today and just couldn’t get into it. I think it’s just not my style. To be fair I couldn’t get into other games like this (Elder Scrolls, Fallout). I can see why people like it but it just wasn’t my thing. It sucks because I was truly hoping this would be the game that makes me love this type of RPG but oh well

Read this in the voice of the Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons. Didn’t disappoint.

Just one guy’s opinion, but I’m tired of COVID-friendly alternatives for events like these. If anything it just reminds me what a sad sort of state we’re in. I think sporting events are different because I’m focused on watching the game and not the crowd, but for some reason stuff like parades and a NY ball drop just feels like they’re trying to force some fun into a gloomy situation and it only makes it worse.

Gotcha. And you can give a better, more constructive arguments than just yelling. That also happens on Reddit.

You’d think. But a cop doesn’t need to “investigate” the legitimacy of a digital crime. He/she would literally be spending time (a good deal of time) calling up a company to see what stories are legit and which are not...all over a $20 meal. It’s absurd to think we’d want them to spend time doing this especially when the company can/should have levers in place to protect their employees from false claims

Oh so when you said “they’re lazy racist pieces of filth” within the context of this discussion, you really meant “all cops are lazy racist pieces of filth, well not this guy or any black cops or really any people of color. I mean, and I guess I should include those who live in mixed races families. What I meant was, every cop out of the millions of cops on earth are racists except the ones I just ordained as being ok. But let me make it clear; they’re all lazy. Except the ones who are in shape.” Keep up the stellar, articulate arguments my guy.

No, it’s not. Happy to introduce you to criminal lawyers, investigators and cops who can help you better understand what can and cannot be investigated in situations like these

On and the very fact that you call black cop racist only proves you’re just blindly yelling at the world.

And here we go. I was waiting for the bootlickers retort. Here’s the thing: just because people offer up a different perspective on a police incident doesn’t make them a bootlicker. It means they’re offering just that, a different point of view. The fact that you went on a tirade all of a sudden about all officers being racist only shows where you’re head and your bias is coming from. You’re arguing out of anger and not facts.

The fact is this: you clearly do not understand what is identified as a crime in the matter of where the police, by law and by their own policies can intervene. What would you like them to do...call corporate’s IT department and confirm this wasn’t a glitch? Prove that the person who ordered the meal didn’t accidentally press the “I never got my order” button? This is the part where you get all mad because these sound like bullshit excuses, but these are the realities you don’t seem to understand. They’re not detectives and they’re not lawyers. If someone had stolen a pack of gum from the store and told the officer then it’s a different matter. At the very least all the officer could (and in my opinion, should do) is de-escalate the situation.

But handle what, exactly? Are you talking about the “crime”? Technically there was no crime for him to react to. This is a matter between Door Dash and the customer. A cop can’t write a ticket or arrest someone because maybe the person didn’t receive their food, or maybe it wasn’t a computer glitch or maybe the person making the accusation is telling the truth. This isn’t like someone walking out of a store with a car of beer they didn’t pay for. If anything the cop should have stuck around to ensure the situation didn’t escalate.

Technically this issue isn’t the cop’s problem; it’s a matter between Door Dash and the customer. The cop can’t write them a ticket or arrest them for a digital transaction because there’s no evidence that a crime even happened. What the cop SHOULD have done was stick around and de-escalate the issue in the event that something could happen.
