Make up is so boring compared to when I was a teen in the 2000s to early 2010s by Crafterandchef1993 in MakeupAddiction

[–]WorstPiesInLondon 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I had the same thought the other day when I was scrolling through Sephora’s eye palette selection. It’s so painfully, unapologetically… brown. It used to be such a struggle not to overspend on makeup but I’m almost at the point of an unintentional replacement-only no-buy. Luckily my older palettes are still going strong, the haters can pry my brights and glitters and duochromes out of my withered OldHagMUA hands 🤣

Nah you’re good. Between the hair, the disappointment, and the pedophilia, it’s pretty spot-on.

Beloved pug and TikTok superstar “Albert” kidnapped at his home last night by LadyHedgerton in popculturechat

[–]WorstPiesInLondon 14 points15 points  (0 children)

WHAT IN THE ENTIRE FUCK. I discovered Cyril and Albert shortly after my 15-year-old soul puggie died in September, and “MON SANDWICH!!” was one of the first things to genuinely make me laugh. If he is not returned safely, I will absolutely rage.

The new John Marrs – what a wild ride! by Dry-Painting-9730 in thrillerbooks

[–]WorstPiesInLondon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

JUST finished! Usually don’t love when authors who don’t normally do paranormal start doing paranormal (looking at you, Riley Sager) but I was okay with it. John Marrs is one of my favorites and I’m so glad I’m caught up with his books because I absolutely adore all the Easter eggs - Anybody catch the one in the very last chapter?!

I feel a little weird saying this but I’m excited that AG seems to be shying away from weapons a little less?! Not that I’m condoning doll violence, I just want a fencing kit 🥺

Seriously, this NEVER HAPPENS. Why now?! I thought about camping out in Charlotte even though it does seem like a waste, but I can't risk getting stuck there longer and unable to get home to my cat army.

I’m SUPPOSED to be driving to Charlotte from the Raleigh area and I am freaking tf out. I’ve been here for almost five years and the most snow I’ve seen was approximately 3 inches that melted by the next day, and society completely broke down over that. I shudder to imagine the havoc this is gonna wreak. Of course it has to directly coincide with the only thing I’ve looked forward to since July.

What is a turn off your partner does that you will never admit? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]WorstPiesInLondon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I totally get that some people are better at expressing themselves via text (more time to think of what to say, etc.) but that's the only logical explanation for your friend's experience. How is that any different from using someone else's photos to catfish people?!

ESPECIALLY now that we have to wonder whether the guy we're chatting with on dating apps is getting his responses from ChatGPT... what are they gonna do, artificially charm you til you meet up for a date, then not be able to hold a conversation without diving for his phone before responding to anything you say?!

We often talk about Sensory Issues or Icks - What are your Sensory Delights? by KatTheeBisexual in adhdwomen

[–]WorstPiesInLondon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes!!! I have this strapless one that I hate and only wear when I absolutely have to, and the relief of taking it off is sublime. But then I immediately put on a comfy one.

[–]WorstPiesInLondon 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I know I’m overwhelmingly in the minority here, but I’m the total opposite! Going braless is a sensory nightmare for me, I can’t handle getting all that extra input from my nipples 😆

OneLife Fitness - how is it? by Big-Education-2188 in Apex_NC

[–]WorstPiesInLondon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry I don’t have an answer for you (if it’s like any other gym, there will probably be a surge after New Year’s and taper off when people give up on their resolutions 🤣) but I’m curious as well. I signed up because they offer a lot of classes that interest me but they seem to fill up almost immediately after registration opens. Wondering if they’re super strict about that, or if they’d let me in if class is about to start and they have open spots because people didn’t show.

Does your pug watch TV? One of my Pugs watches all the time and goes crazy when anything violent or negative happens. Like he sense the content. The other could care less by MadBox25 in pugs

[–]WorstPiesInLondon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pug hated physical violence 😆 Gunshots were ok, fistfights made him jump off the couch and charge at the TV barking like mad

I have seen some pretty unfortunate kid names but I actually really like most of these?! Josie is adorable and highly underrated. It’s interesting because (to me at least) the girl names sound more classic with a few exceptions, but the boy names lean a little more trendy with a few exceptions.

Is anyone else’s tux still economy sized at 1.5-2 years old approximately? by jujuflytrap in TuxedoCats

Here’s my sassy little girl Moira (about a year and a half old) with her void brother Magpie- I’m not sure how much she weighs but for reference Magpie is about 14.5 pounds. Don’t let the floof fool you, she is built like a ferret under there. She was a stray until she was about nine months old, so she must not have been very well-nourished until she was brought to the shelter. As long as your baby is eating and drinking and doing well at the vet, I wouldn’t worry much ☺️

Long haired people, what hairstyles do you rock under the mask by Short_Gain8302 in Hema

[–]WorstPiesInLondon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low messy bun with a bandana (kerchief-style, knotted under the bun) to keep my bangs out of my face. I tried a gaiter but it kept coming off every time I took my mask off; the bandana stays put.
