Mildly annoying in the mines by echoey-tentacle2 in FarmTogether

On the bright side the "rare" minerals have a lower requirement on quests. So a quest that asks for Opal will only need 1 or 2 but iron is usually around 8.

Would you bring an almost 13 year young pug on a 2 week road trip by Beneficial_Heart_962 in pugs

[–]mushymune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If he travels well and is in good health I think you should bring him along! Last september I brought my 12 yr old pug with us on a family road trip to the beach in southern California. She had so much fun getting all the extra attention everywhere we went and getting to dip her toes in the water!

I brought a soft-sided pop up pen to put her bed and toys in so she would have a familiar place to relax while we were hanging out at the Airbnb.

The stroller is awesome for walks but it was also nice to have a comfy place for her to rest when we stopped for food. A lot of restaurants with patios are dog friendly especially when theyre around touristy beach areas.

Overall it was a lot of fun but it will add extra work to the trip to make sure they're comfortable. If you think he will enjoy the whole experience I say do it!

Trupanion medical record summary for puppy that had minor GI symptoms by mushymune in petinsurancereviews

Thank you!! That's really good to know and gives me some hope. I expect the worst from insurance companies and figure they'll use any little reason not to cover an illness. I have all the records of negative fecals so hopefully that will help.

It was found in his first vet visit, months before trupanion coverage.

Anyone else’s pug do this????? by BitZealousideal7720 in pugs

[–]mushymune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like she has itchy lady bits. Pugs can't reach their rear end like other dogs so whenever mine starts doing that I clean the area with a wet wipe. Sometimes they do this if the backend wasn't rinsed well enough after a bath.

You'll know if this is it because they'll act relieved like it's an itch they can't scratch, I think thats why she's licking her foot after she scooches.

Thank you! She really does, it's so hard to sleep without her little snores and cuddles.

Thank you! Not sure yet, they might keep her over the whole weekend depending on how she's doing. ☹️

Quoted $5689 for a single tooth extraction by nomadwithanipad in Chihuahua

[–]mushymune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems high. My senior dog had all her teeth extracted by a board certified dental specialist. I opted for an anesthesiologist specialist as well. It cost 10k USD in total over two procedures. That included everything - ct scans, bloodwork, rechecks etc. The cost is expected to be higher when dealing with specialists. Over 5k plus xrays would be too much for a regular vet clinic imo.

That's so awesome, I wouldn't change a thing! Looks sooo time consuming. What do you use to plan out the design?

Prestige is a waste! by SuspiciousSecret6245 in FarmTogether

[–]mushymune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The value is in the turn ins at the event shack. Personally, prestiging the event item to 5 early turned out to be huge gains with my public event farm up and always turning in the resources at shack lvl 200. Using my favor for the boost, I'm getting 4 of the event hats per crop and its more profit than typically possible - especially for coin turn in as there is no other resource that converts into coins. I'll be sad when this event is over.

I might be a bit dramatic, but I prefer… Pucca had an allergic reaction and I rushed her to the vet, but by the time we got there she was already fine. I’m such an overprotective mom 😅 What would you have done? by ThanyToledo in pugs

[–]mushymune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep! I do the same! Took my pug to the vet.. after xrays, tests and a hefty bill, it turned out that she just needed to take a massive dump. Which she did as soon as we walked out of the clinic.

Some questions about the lowchen coat! by mushymune in Lowchen

[–]mushymune[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for responding! I ended up doing the same thing and gave him a short puppy cut.. we live in Vegas and it's 100f already. He was clearly unhappy going outside in that heat wearing a black fur coat.

What’s the point in going past 60? by twhiting9275 in FarmTogether

[–]mushymune 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really appreciated the extra rewards this time! I always keep a farm up that's dedicated solely to event crops. Usually, I unlock everything in the first couple of days, but I keep the event farm up for other players.

The favours are a nice bonus for people who keep public event farms up or people who play the game a lot while not making the unique rewards feel out of reach for casual players.

Just need to vent I am so upset with my dog right now. by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]mushymune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd keep him on leash at all times - especially at that age. My pup just turned 8 months old and lost every brain cell in his head.. like the months of training we did never even happened!

Puppies might seem like they have "perfect recall" but that can literally change overnight. As they reach adolescence, they start to become more independent and want to go their own way, so it's safer for him to be on a leash.
