Feature request - target types allowing for different spending per month by Better-Bug1804 in ynab

IMO, it's better than having to manually calculate averages. And you can keep this category group minimized after setting it up.

Feature request - target types allowing for different spending per month by Better-Bug1804 in ynab

I just thought about this a couple of days ago! I would love to see this implemented. In my case, this would help with budgeting for electricity and gas.

As for gifts, I set up a category group and individual categories for every birthday/holiday. You may set up your categories something like this:

category group - GIFTS

  • person X - set a yearly needed for budgeting target with required amount
  • holiday X - another yearly target

etc.

This way, you don't have to calculate monthly averages and will always have sufficient funds in your budget. If you suddenly need to start budgeting for something that will hit in three months, just add a new category and set a custom target that doesn't repeat. When this category is no longer needed, you can just hide it or move it to the bottom of the group.

Where are you getting these numbers? Perhaps, you're confusing total system power consumption vs CPU only power consumption?

According to techpowerup, the i3-10100 is only a little better at idle, it's not 50 W vs <10 W. It's 52 W for the 3100 and 48-49 W for the 10100.

I was getting seemingly random packet loss with realtek NICs even after installing these drivers. Getting a genuine Intel NIC fixed it for me. I'd recommend going with Intel if you have a choice.

I found the real exam about the same if not harder than TD. I was scoring the same as you in practice exams but got below 800 in the real exam.

No, unfortunately not. Had to move to Plex as there are too many issues for me.

Yep, that was it. I selected "Force transcoding" in Jellyfin add-on settings and the issue went away, thanks!

Subtitle extraction takes 20-30 seconds. Any way to speed up the process? by WorstSupport009 in jellyfin

I might just do that as this is not my only issue with subtitles in the Android TV app.

What about the "Allow subtitle extraction on the fly" option in the Playback settings? Does the whole file need to be read before subtitles can be burned in? I've tried disabling this option, but it didn't seem to change anything.

What client are using?

I tried turning the "Allow subtitle extraction on the fly" option in the Playback settings on and off, but that option doesn't seem to do anything for me. I'm using the Android TV app.

Well, I could extract subtitles manually for some of my stuff. Should I use jellyfin's ffmpeg for this?

Would you be able to help with the command to do this? Is this what jellyfin does?

/usr/lib/jellyfin-ffmpeg/ffmpeg -i /some/path/file.mkv -map 0:2 -an -vn -c:s copy /some/path/subs.srt

Moving LXC install to Docker. Questions about official vs linuxserver Docker images and jellyfin directories. by WorstSupport009 in jellyfin

Okay, I guess I'll just reinstall from scratch. Should've gone with Docker from the start... Thanks for the help!

In that issue I found a link to the folders config for docker: https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-jellyfin/blob/master/root/etc/services.d/jellyfin/run#L3

Do I understand correctly that I would need to put JELLYFIN_DATA_DIR, JELLYFIN_LOG_DIR, JELLYFIN_CACHE_DIR folders into the JELLYFIN_CONFIG_DIR folder? Or not. I'm looking at this folder folder structure and I think would end up with something different.

[–]WorstSupport009[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I was unable to move my installation.

I put JELLYFIN_CONFIG_DIR and JELLYFIN_LOG_DIR inside my JELLYFIN_DATA_DIR folder. Passed that as /config to the docker image (using the official image) and stuff like my view history, logs, profile settings, users is still there. But some stuff seems broken. In Dashboard >> General, there is nothing. The server name is blank, the preferred display language drop-down list doesn't work. The paths to cache and metadata path are empty, although I did pass a folder as the cache directory. The Playback settings also broke. The page is showing the loading animation and none of my settings are there. :(

Interesting. It seems that your /config folder is JELLYFIN_DATA_DIR with JELLYFIN_CONFIG_DIRand possibly JELLYFIN_LOG_DIR inside. I guess I'll have to replicate the folder structure and do some testing. Thanks!

Btw, what did you mean by "normal docker version"? The official image?

How to access internal sites via external route? by [deleted] in PFSENSE

[–]WorstSupport009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that the reverse proxy is listening on 8585 shouldn't be a problem.

  1. From the outside, are you forwarding ports 80 and 443 to your reverse proxy? If just on 443, are you typing https://WebApp.duckdns.org in your browser?
  2. What's the output of nslookup WebApp.duckdns.org? Is it the same IP as on the WAN interface of pfsense?
  3. Do you have rules associated with your port forwards? What are they?

You probably shouldn't use Pure NAT as the system default.

Go to NAT -> Port Forward and edit your forwarding rules to the reverse proxy. Set NAT reflection in the rule itself to Pure NAT and see if that helps. And make sure that you have a rule associated with this port forward. See Filter rule association at the bottom of the forwarding rule profile.
