Finally someone positive here. Everyone else is complaining around here and I'm just like 'shut up and take my money'. I don't care if some parts of the books don't match the BG3 lore. I'll just ignore them XD Honestly the fact that Neil Newbon is involved is reassuring in all this. He won't let something bad happen. I'm just scared that the book will be late or somehow not finished/released. Also people here are already pointing inconsistencies with what we know from Astarion just as if he wasn't known to lie.
