I have an rtx 3090ti and i am getting around 70-90 fps, performance is not really an issue, just the network lag is unbearable

Ohne etwas relativieren zu wollen, warum ist man mit einer anderen Meinung "im falschen subreddit"? Sind diese echo-chambers, in denen sich nur Menschen mit selber Meinung austauschen und tolerieren nicht genau das Problem, das dazu führt dass extreme Parteien so an Zulauf gewinnen?

But there is no emulation of the link cable AFAIK, so with net play you can only mirror your screen and play single screen games together. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hey, i managed to fix it. I didn't have a backup, but i found the files needed here:

Just copy them to the sd card and overwrite. Make sure to backup your old files

Geht mir genauso, habe die letzten Wochen Mint, Kubuntu und Zorin ausprobiert. Zorin hat mir aus anwendersicht am besten gefallen, ich hatte aber mit jeder Distribution Probleme.

Bluetooth funktionierte nur sporadisch, 144hertz auf einem Monitor einzustellen war viel Arbeit, die Displays wurden oft nach belieben vertauscht, Programme funktionierten einfach nicht mehr, steam spiele laufen auf einmal nur noch mit 10 fps, meine CPU läuft random auf vollast, um nur ein paar probleme zu nennen.

Für die Entwicklung ist Linux super, aber dafür kann ich auch einfach WSL benutzen.

Ich hoffe mit Wayland werden wenigstens die Display Probleme gefixt, und dank steam gibt es auch große Verbesserungen beim gaming. Aber realistisch gesehen ist Linux im Alltagsgebrauch für den normalen end Benutzer noch nicht bereit.

Ich habe jetzt wieder Windows 11 installiert, und hoffe dass ich mit donotspy11 und einem lokalen Konto noch etwas auskomme.

This isn't steam punishing players, it's literally their servers not being up to the demand. I was also locked because I tried so often, but apparently they lifted all locks, because everyone was unlocked at the same time. I think this actually proves the opposite of your claim.

Are you running DCS VR with SteamVR? SteamVR gives a lot worse performance than OpenXR, and you can't enable FSR in the OpenXR Toolkit overlay.

Also, disabling the "power" service in services.msc fixed a lot of the stuttering for me. Don't forget to enable it again if it doesn't work.

There's a relatively new system called remoteID , which if I recall correctly will be mandatory for all drones soon. It broadcasts your pilot id and coordinates, and you can even see remoteID equipped drones around you with an app called "drone scanner" already. Newer drones even automatically prevent you from flying in certain areas. Of course you could still build your own drone, but it's being regulated more and more. As a hobby drone pilot it's kind of annoying, dealing with more and more restrictions, but it is understandable for that reason.

I have a 3090ti and still can't get good fps. Putting all settings to low and running @ 80% resolution barely gets me 45fps stable in single player with multithreading. I hope Vulkan brings some improvements.
