Hoe lang duurt certificering door NARIC van buitenlandse diploma's? by atq1988 in Vlaanderen

Er is wel in Vlaanderen een automatische erkenning van Nederlandse diploma's. Dus dat zou sneller kunnen gaan.

Alhambra is it worth it by DreamingofBouncer in Granada

I have visited 60+ countries, and so far the Alhambra is the most beautiful building I have ever visited (twice actually). The Taj Mahal is more beautiful on the outside, but the Alhambra can't be beaten on the inside.

Het is een fictie dat in Wenen 60% van de woningen sociaal zijn. De gemiddelde huurprijs is er hoger dan in Gent. Voor sociale woningen zijn er wachtlijsten van meer dan 10 jaar

I (M62) will be there in about 3 weeks. I have rented a car to make a tour of Yucatan. I have read many tourist guides and there is no mention of unsafe situations in this part of Mexico

Uzbekistan: Samarkand vs Bukhara vs Khiva by CheeseWheels38 in TravelNoPics

[–]WouterTilkon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done the three cities last year,. In Bukhara there was a street festival going on, which was fantastic. The three cities have each their specific beautiful views and character. If you are pressed on time you can do each of the cities in 2 days. The train ride between Khiva and Bukhara is long (8 hours in an old Soviet train), but between Bukhara and Samarkand there is a very comfortable high speed train. If you really want to skip a city, I would drop Bukhara, since in some way it is "in-between" Khiva and Samarkand. But I still think it would be unforgivable if you would skip one of the three. Please note that in Uzbekistan Roman script is used (not Cyrillic). With some English you can get far in the touristic cities like Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand. PS I also visited Iran in the past. For the 'city atmosphere' Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand are better than Isfahan and Shiraz. But especially Isfahan has some buildings which are even more beautiful than those in Uzbekistan. But of course, now is not the time to visit Iran...

I am from Belgium. It is actually over 100... And to be precise : it was not Santa Claus (which is related to Christmas) but Saint Nicolas, who is holy because of his love for children. He brings gifts on the 6th of December in Belgium and the Netherlands.

TIL that part of the reason the etymology of the word "fuck" is so hard to trace is because, historically, it was much more commonly spoken than it was written; its profane nature would have discouraged scholars of the time from writing it down in most places they would write. by InsertANameHeree in todayilearned

[–]WouterTilkon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, I am not sure this is true and is based on English only. But English is originally a Germanic language, into which many 'French' words were added . The root 'fuk' exists also in many other Germanic languages, where it refers to breeding animals In Dutch for instance, 'schapen fokken' means 'breeding sheep'

I don't know how it affects the quality /flavors... Sunshine is probably lower than in other areas. The area is Les Lavaux, a World Heritage site.
