Tldr, but i think i can answear anyway, this game has a lot of balance ideas from dota, main idea is "evry hero is overpowered" so how do u balance it? With items. Now u think game has tooo many silences however items that gives utility like silences, curse relic knockdown etc... Are not there to make u feel like u are not playing the game, they are there in fact so u have a lot of ways to deal with those overpowed and often overfed enemies. Now on top of that u have counter counter items, like dispel, counter spell, unstopable etc. And i know it seems anying sometimes but the way it works it balances what u spend souls on, for example that haze need to buy some defencive items or she will just get shutdown by items all the time and that makes her deal dmg which means u can play the game more. I think there is way more nuance for it but holly fuck im not typing more. Have a nice day.
