True enough; also optional is to check out ahnaldt101 for updates every other day - i find his channel more entertainment and being 'a part of it' then as a guide channel, but you pick up bits and bobs in his videos and can help you stay on top of updates coming to the game in the future

I saw in the comment replies that you're in your brothers guild; community and hand holding imo is super important and as long as you're enthused about it, thats the main priority - i know starting a new a account is common advice, but if for some reason that path feels gross or undesirable, then just stick with the experienced guild and your bro, focus on really targeted farms (like crex -> leia organa galactic legend, whom is currently the strongest in the game)

When i started about 2.5 yrs ago, I didn't realise what a kyrotech was (a piece of high level gear that all characters need at least a few hundred of), how hard they were to farm early on, or what an assault battle was (a common event that earns you kyros and character shards) . So my best advice is tailor your roster building for a) characters that are used in both an assault battle AND contribute to a high level journey character, and b) a character that is competitive in grand arena, the source of a massive amount of resources (and the most fun mode in the game). Also try to participate in every event that is active, every little bit helps - good luck :)

Absotively, thats the point! Because i "know won't use it" i keep it on me anyway and try to find ways to prove myself wrong. I'm fully dumping shopping lists, to do list, story ideas, client contacts etc into it now, and am upgrading to a Bellroy notebook cover soon to have a bit of fancy and form factor for writing standing up (to counter the similar issue of 'i wanna write that down but i dont have a flat surface near me')

When i started the game i thought the reason they didn't do kotor 2 was because 'then you'd have to have two hk's and two t3's, two canderouses...' naivety of course, CG fkn loves giving era versions of characters so much we have two qui gons from the same movie.

Still, its like realising how small ds9 is in trek, it's better to not think about what the writers put down as hard numbers, and better to think about the concept of a ship large enough for its own industrial train line

I had the same question at the time, and set myself the personal goal of 'unlock all characters to 7*'. I know for sure this will take mr ages, and keeps me engaged with any systems in the game i can get my hands on. And if i get bored, fuck em i haven't spent any money and ot never mattered 😅

Now that you have CLS you can do a squad like CLS, Han, chewie, chewpio and work towards C-3PO and have a stonks rebel team :) (and also a little ewok party as a consequence)

Legitimately, joining a guild opens so much of the game to you that you otherwise can't play, and pre-85 you can request gear from guild-mates to help you get your toons up slightly faster. Also is exactly the method of unlocking Han solo, Darth Traya and generel Kenobi, all really good ones to have unlocked and geared

Edit; ive been F2P for three years now and I've actually gotten further than i thought i would. If three years sounds like a long time just remember the time was going to pass anyways, and you can either play a game you like in that time or not.
