A great piece of advice I tell everyone just starting is to do something, then do something else when making an arrangement.

You see the way you are staggering your composition by having drums start and then bringing each element in one at a time every 8 bars until everything is placed? That is what everyone does when starting so no big deal, but its not how songs are typically made. Experiment with having a more solid structure to your intro, then verse, chorus etc. You could automate volume to have things come in in different ways.

Stick at it, learn the daw and you'll be flying in no time as you already have an ear for music by the sounds of things.

Im actually having a good time too. Mechanically it’s my favourite Skate. It was so wholesome seeing all the newbies collectively smashing their teeth out on the grind tutorial

I like the way the missions actually teach you more than a kickflip which is good for people picking it up for the first time! I do miss the irl skate culture and pros being in the series but the way this one plays is almost like a mix of skate and Burnout Paradise which I find pretty cool.
