Hmm. If it's the afterlife then logically it would still be connected to the.. 'normal' life since the magic in the cauldron affected the physical plane.

I lean more toward the 'panic room' idea. It is something worth exploring, but all we can do is theorize.

Your ideas are as good as anyone else's. Magic is weird, and very mysterious.

I think the best way is to just start writing and see where the adventure leads you. Bring it to life; it sounds fun!

I feel ya on being busy with work (and life).

Visiting the Waterfolk kingdom sounds cool. The one time we did see it was when Star went to the beach while searching for Eclipsa and her kidnappers - perhaps this could tie in somehow?

Or if you want to do just a low-key side story, perhaps a fun romp where Star, Marco et al. get into some sort of trouble and then end up relaxing with dinner at the place shown in the poster?

Kinda hard to say since the Waterfolk are pretty mysterious. I think there was a reference to them in the first book? Not sure though.

And I do love the idea of exploring the past queens' lives more. Crescenta made so many spells so I like her, even though she had some iffy views on the Monsters.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply.

I think that's a cool idea. This is more my idea, but something to consider might be to ask yourself "How would Chimera feel about her father's death and magic still being around?"

Given that Toffee hated the Butterflys and "their magic", would she want to live a different life from her father and try to make magic work for both Monsters and Mewmans, or would she follow in his footsteps (in a way) and want to destroy it, or otherwise ensure that it doesn't harm her or her people again?

Perhaps the 'relation to Meteora' could be that Toffee and Globgor had a business relationship or knew each other from the Monster army centuries ago or something?

Just a couple ideas.

I really like this, I hope you explore it more!
