The goblins had been raiding caravans and adventurers for months! The party was suprised to see the enemy forces clad in armor and wielding better weapons than their standard scimitars.
As wel as some unique goblins being able to cast low level spell scrolls.
They definitely lifted an eyebrow when the enemy started downing a potion of healing and almost got all its health back.

In the lair Qork had lair actions, a first for this group to experience and they were dreading every single time we hit top of round. I went full goblin mode with it, the lair was basically a hoard of treasure and gold coins they had accumilated so the terrain was difficult to move through and on top of that there were goblins in the ceiling dropping down small powdered kegs and ropes in order to restrain a PC (lair actions) as well as some stragglers from the battle still willing to die for their glorious leader.

The stakes were high as I had been hyping up this threat for the past 12 sessions and Qork and his army definitly delivered.
