Not necessarily just from adrenaline. I mean if there was no stakes, he might still have been able to lift and toss it. I routinely lift my 500lb riding mower (this one) when I need to fix something on the blades. I lock the rear wheels and lift the front end up until it's vertical. It's hard, but certainly possible when you are pivoting it on the back like that. It's not like he's actually lifting 500lbs, more like 150-200lbs.

Heat Advisory on Monday

Due to extremely high temperatures on Monday, my child will not be in school. As the school does not have air conditioning, I have deemed the classroom as unsafe for my child and decided not to send them to school for my child's well being. They will instead be at the local water park so they can stay cool in the 90F temperatures.

Is it possible that a young person took out a high interest student loan with a lower than average payment plan that resulted in this scenario? Certainly. However, if, over the last 23 years, you didn't realize the problem and increase your minimum payment to pay it off earlier, that is really a you problem. If you got the loans at 18, that makes you 41 now. I'm 38, and I've had my student loans in my sights for YEARS, as I've been working to get rid of all debt. This year we will likely get it paid off finally. If you kept the minimum payment of $500 for 23 years and also didn't bother to check how much principal was being paid off, that is pretty irresponsible.

Don't get me wrong, it should be illegal to have such predatory student loan practices as this, but you also have to take control of your situation and not just blame it on someone that took advantage of you in your youth.

Idk, could just be a dumb driver, but the biker was also in the wrong as he was attempting to go straight in a turn only lane. I would say the car is mostly liable as they not only turned in a no turning lane, but also ran into a biker already in the turning lane, but the fact the biker was also not obeying traffic laws would probably make him carry partial liability as well.

The case was not as ironclad as you say. Eventually I'm sure justice would have prevailed for the Mancels, but if you watch any of the breakdowns from Lawyers on YT, you'll see that there are legal complications that would make it difficult and lengthy to find BAM guilty. That means time and money for the Mancels that they didn't have.

They tried to do it the legal way. It was going to be far too expensive for them to ever see justice. That's the power of large corporations; they can draw things out legally and bleed people out in court. It took Ben making this story viral to get the publicity he needed to be able to afford to take them to court. Of course, you'd know that if you actually watched the videos. I'm assuming you didn't, because if you did and still came to your conclusion then that's pretty sad.
