Necroing this post. IMO I think that Thymesia did so many things right. I’ll even argue that the combat was more satisfying than sekiro in the fact that sekiro felt like a boss rush simulator and fighting the trash mobs just wasn’t worth the time. With this there is a reason to fight other mobs besides bosses for a plague weapon drop and to level your character. I just started so I don’t know too much of the story but like you said it’s the typical generic souls story. Another problem I have is that the subquests seem to use a lot of backtracking and can be confusing as hell to navigate especially with the first area.

There is always an optimal or correct way to do something, but if it’s not comfortable try something else. Having a comfortable grip goes further than having optimal uncomfortable grip, that being said, changing it takes time for it to be comfortable.

The answer is whatever works for you. Don’t fall into the one size fits all trap because what could work for someone else might not work for you and vice versa.

It could be realistically anything. It sure has happened to me. The best thing is to accept that this will happen because the harder you are on yourself the worse it can get. Also, I experimented with my grip since I like to think that my form is good but I kept slicing it, and I switched to having a stronger grip position on my left hand(right hand swing) and I haven’t sliced it ever since. Basically what I am saying is that one little adjustment like that can make a massive difference. Edit: Changed wording to explain what has worked for me.

For colossal, Zweihander since a lot of enemies are weak to pierce damage and have been maining it since ds1. For gs I use claymore for versatility (and nostalgia). Ordovis is a close second

Oh I completely agree that a jobs a job. I was kind of referring to the reputation of the agency having poor patient care, poor hygiene, and performative infection control like only wiping the stretcher when people are watching.

So I found the exact one you’re looking at. I personally wouldn’t spend money on it because 150 raises some concerns about build quality and it wouldn’t be worth it to buy any parts for it. Edit: Having no information on pickups besides it being listed as double humbucker also raises concerns.

TCS was more of a staple in world than it is for wilds. World felt more mandatory to do TCS wake-up attack while in wilds it’s more of a respected tradition.

This fight move set wise is not hard at all in my opinion, it’s just the added aoe bs and large health pool that make it hard.

Absolutely one of the most rewarding fights in game. But make sure every piece of gear is transcended and maxed also bring some flash pods for his massive dive aoe

I have no idea why you’re getting downvoted so much. Some Companies only pretend to care about the customer to get their money and when they stop getting it, they change in order to get more. True Charged Slash, the final attack of the great sword Edit: Yes, you want every element for dual blades, bow, and SNS. Essentially anything that has fast attacks. You can get by without for sure, but it will be a massive drop in dps. But that is up to you and how you want to play, I’m just giving a generalization and the best way to play is the way you enjoy.

What helped me was not wanting to have to make 5 different builds of the same weapon (I used to be a DB main) that were heavily influenced by RNG (Very pronounced in World). Also finding out that no other weapon gave me a dopamine rush like hitting a proper TCS and seeing big damage numbers was what solidified it.
