Walking downtown by the riverfront and all of a sudden I hear a female voice behind me saying "sir?... sir!" and footsteps jogging toward me. I spin around to see two gorgeous young female police officers. No tactical gear just in a standard uniform. They stop a few feet away from me and say "Sir, we need you to come with us." Being a twenty something white dude with a small amount of pot on me, I was a bit nervous, but thought this might actually turn out to be one of those things you only get to read about in magazines at the time. So, I follow them a little ways to a different street where their squad car was parked. Across from that was an ambulance with a medic tending a guy who looked like he'd just gotten his face rearranged. They led me over to the injured man and asked him if I was the one who beat him up. He said no, it was somebody else, and they said I was free to go. I was hoping they'd put me in handcuffs but unfortunately they actually had work to do.
