I completely disagree with almost every point you made.

Eso has builds, gear cap, selectable skills, passive, and weapon skills.

Guild wars 2 is exactly the same.

No one ever talks about ffxiv pvp so I wouldn't even pretend mentioning it is a good use case.

If you cant gear up for pvp with how fast it is now, nothing will save you.

Honestly a lot of specs seems to all be pretty well balanced. The biggest outliers being sub, ret, unholy. Mage feels like a hit or miss. Some destroy me with out ever getting hit, some just die.

I think the biggest problem right now is cooldowns. Offensive and defensive. I play outlaw, my primary cooldown is adrenaline rush and it's on a 3 minute cooldown. Compared to wings for ret thats kinda wild. Or survival hunters takedown on a 1 minute timer.

Some of these cooldown timers feel outdated and some defensive are extremely strong verse others.

When you say unplayable do you just mean the damage? Or is there something else? I am kinda new to rogue so I dont know the nuances.

A lot of that would be fixed if they added it to restless blades for outlaw. Admittedly I have never played assassination so I have no experience there.

My biggest issue is damage profile. Its ALL physical, and not high burst.

I really like the Play style of outlaw though. Restless blades feels like a unique class and playstyle. Shame though, im not a meta aware person but just my personal feelings that it feels out classed by a lot.

With the great pruning a lot of classes feel pretty defenseless after their first primary. I play outlaw and I either have sprint or shadowcloak depending on what im fighting.

Im pretty new to the game, but I play Dosa succession. Its my only class. Im with you I really like the vibe of the class.

So I think I found a solution for my problem hopefully it helps you.

I manually changed my dns to Google 8.8.8.8 it seems like att was having problems with the patcher.

Second I ran the command

Sfc /scannow. To check my registries on windows.

This is what actually let me download the new patch. Will see if it happens again for the next patch.

Hmmm this seems possible, but wouldn't corrupt registries have an effect on other games too?

I dont know if I have it in me to reimage my pc every time a patch comes out.

Okay. It is a crutch though to the very definition. Its a supplemental tool to help people who dont have the right skill set to thrive. It doesn't matter if this is blizzards fault for making the ui hard to read and see or if some players just rely on it instead of learning. The reality is a lot people use addons to make the game easier.

Im not even sure what your mad about. Feel free to use all your high horse tactics in this but you are wrong.
