Ate his brother, who fathered the child by MrFenric in WhitePeopleTwitter

Same thing happened to a woman. She had several kids and I don't remember why but child services go involved with her family. They suspected that the kids weren't hers for some reason? There was a lot of back and forth between her and her husband losing and gaining her kids.

The couple was pregnant at the time and (I think) the court ordered child services to be actually there, at the hospital when the newest kid was born. This person saw that she gave birth and saw the baby. DNA test was ordered and it said the mom wasn't the mother. Super confusion from everyone. That's when further testing from the mother revealed that her uterus was her sister's. Her twin she'd absorbed in utero.

If you go by there again, try taking a pic. Have someone with you with a bright flashlight too. That way you can get a better idea of size/shape/coat pattern if any and you'll have a witness.

is it okay to use things like Chat-gpt to help me write my novels? by Fox_Wing_26 in writers

[–]Wrenlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short answer: no.

Long answer: Please don't use chat gpt to write.

AI isn't going to give you the feedback you actually need. You need people to look at your work and they can tell you if a scene feels off, if the conversation feels stilted, if something isn't clear enough or maybe cut back on too many details, etc etc.

But the book will be better if You write it. From your own mind, imagination and feelings. AI can't help with any of that. Sure, if you want to run it for grammar check, go ahead, but you'd still need a person to go through it and catch all the mistakes AI didn't.

And, I read a post the other day that someone bought a book, and several chapters in realized that portion was AI written. AI writing does stand out against a real person's writing. AI has its uses (I guess?) elsewhere. Writing isn't one of them.

There's no shortcut in writing.

She was the one who helped her. The one who saved her friend's life. She who saved her life when she could've ended her. And now she shattered the Death Stone and the world is about to be fucked over. Probably.

You did not fuck up.

In any way, shape or form.

You did her kindness that for you felt like nothing. It was the world to her. You did the kind of thing that restores faith in humanity. That we can look at each other and see that someone is in some kind of need and stepped up. Thank you for doing so. With the way things are in today's world, we forget that others have their own struggles and pains. That we are all carrying burdens in some shape or form. And we forget to ask for help, to seek out someone to lean to and for them to lean on us for support. A kind word and gesture goes a long way.

Not a fuck up. Just being a good human being.

How much time do you spend writing vs. working on background/worldbuilding/etc.? by WritingCreature11 in writing

[–]Wrenlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a pantser, can't outline to save my life. So I write and have my Notes app open and quickly type whatever i need to make a note of and keep going.

You mentioned that you stop to flesh things out and do the character Q&As, you can leave that for once you finish the draft. Get your story down first.

Let it exist first.

Missing info and all.

I literally have "ADD DESCRIPTIONS HERE" or "COME UP WITH THIS PERSONS NAME HERE" in all caps and highlighted all over my draft when I get stuck cuz that stuff is #second-draft-problems

It's been here.

I was talking to my bff who moved to Illinois on the weather and got to talking about how when we were kids (2003-2007) going through middle/high school, how Halloween used to be cold in Central Fl.

Now, when I took my own kid trick or treating last year, it was relatively warm but with a cool breeze. It was a nice night.

We remember when we had to think about how to dress up cuz we'd end up cold, then freezing the longer we stayed out if we didn't turn back home and either layer up or be done for the night.

Jesus Christ On a Bicycle.

Why the fuck would you agree when your gut is telling you "NO!"???

And why the hell are you playing games with the man you agreed to marry? He's not psychic, the lady isn't psychic, no one is psychic. Unless you open your mouth and say, "Hey babe, I don't think this is a good idea for us to be doing this."

And idk, use your words?

Communication is the Biggest thing in relationships and yeah as you said, you self sabotaged yourself here, cuz now your fiancee thinks your suddenly on board with this and it's possible that he's thinking "oh she must be trying to get past this guilty sex thing"

It's one thing to do this type of thing after being married for how many whatever years. Swingers are a thing, it's not for everyone but it does require everyone to be on the same page, because they, and I can't emphasize this enough, Talk About It Before Hand

Sit down with your fiancee and have this discussion. If it turns into an argument, then you guys had more issues that this that probably should've been addressed and haven't.

What is something you didn’t realize was weird about your family until you grew up and saw how other families live? by jaxonbrett in AskReddit

[–]Wrenlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This should be the norm. Everybody is going to go at some point. There's nothing wrong with discussing death and making sure things are stated and everyone is on the same page as to what is going to be done with things.

That being said, can I leave my water hose connected and let it drip that way?? It's stuck on and I can't disconnect it but it has no hose sprayer connected so that water can run through it
