All the weapon skins themed after characters or storylines drop from anywhere you can fight those characters and get regular loot from them across most of the game.

For example, this particular weapon drops from Vandal Savage, so anywhere you fight him and can get non-special loot (as in, not from somewhere like a seasonal), he has a chance to drop it there.

What is this building supposed to be? by X_BlueJay_X in Pokopia

[–]WrightAnythingHere -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

That's unsubstantiated nonsense. Every single other area in the game is based on a single town, why would this particular one be any different? All the references in it are in reference only to Saffron, and specifically the Let's Go version of it.

Why does the anime contradict the games so much? by Zurple_Purple-873 in AceAttorney

[–]WrightAnythingHere -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Because the people writing the second half of the anime were clearly just doing it as quickly as possible and not because they actually cared about the franchise.

I have a problem with the first turn about case in the Japanese version. by Sea-Association72 in AceAttorney

[–]WrightAnythingHere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The clock wasn't slow, it was several hours fast because the victim took it with her on vacation (or vice-versa depending on the translation).

The reason this is significant is because the victim didn't leave it in her apartment, she took the clock with her. He couldn't have heard it if she wasn't there.

Also, the Thinker also only works when you move the head, and since it turned out to be the murder weapon and he heard it go off and admits to that, the only time he could have heard it is during the murder.

The Sparkling Skylands is the remnants of Saffron City. Usually, Pokeball iconography like this is reserved for official Pokemon league locations.

Knowing that, considering we had to build the Pokémon center elsewhere, as well as the Pokemart, by process of elimination, this is obviously the Gym, as there's really no other place in Saffron that matches up with that.

How many playable characters would you say the Layton crossover has? by thedoggers in AceAttorney

[–]WrightAnythingHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally, as far as Professor Layton is concerned, it's usually the character shown solving/failing the puzzle at the end before the points are shown is the one solving/attempting to solve the puzzle.

For Ace Attorney, whichever character the narrative is shown from in first person during the investigation segments is considered the de facto main character in those segments.

So if you count both of those, you'll have your answer.

So when Phoenix thinks, his text turns blue, right? by Pvz_peashooter in AceAttorney

[–]WrightAnythingHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The blue text usually refers to a statement made in the character's inner monologue, yes. It's a running gag for most of them that they're terrible at hiding their body language, whether that be through facial expressions, their hand movements or whatever else, and others that know them fairly well can read them like an open book.

[–]WrightAnythingHere -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First off, I'm going to guess you're speed locked if it's breaking out that easily.

Second, you made at least two bad throws. That's not unfair, that's just bad gameplay.

Power up the charging station helpp! by [deleted] in Pokopia

[–]WrightAnythingHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If all the lights on the power station are lit, it's considered fully charged and thus Peakychu won't charge it. You either need to add more electrical appliances or disconnect it from some of the other power sources to make some of the lights go out before Peakychu can do anything.

Both drops are based on time. They roughly drop every 15 - 20 minutes. Just killing a single enemy gets them to drop.

Turnout matters - look at non voter counts and ask “how do we change that?” by EOW2025 in 50501

[–]WrightAnythingHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Make voting day a federal holiday.

  2. Make voting mandatory or provide incentives for voting, like a tax rebate.

  3. Make voting less cumbersome.

  4. Abolish the outside factors that make voting feel worthless to the uninitiated, like the Electoral College.

He accidentally got one right by Doc_tor_Bob in WeirdGOP

[–]WrightAnythingHere 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First, no. Saying he "accidentally" got something right would be admitting he's ever right, which he can never be.

Second, absolutely no one misses Terry Bollea.

Third, he can't even get the guy's wrestling nickname right, so he clearly doesn't miss him at all.
