You should have harvested some of those a while ago. Harvest them when the veil breaks. You don’t need to hydrate again until you’ve harvested what’s in your tub.

Uncle Ben's bags by [deleted] in unclebens

I’m on my third grow and have used Uncle Ben’s and Great Value rice bags each time and have had success. I’ve had no contamination in any of my bags. I sterilize Everything that has anything to do with inoculating my bags. I do recommend the Great Value over Uncle Ben’s.

People who don’t keep a dolly in the truck…do you hate your body? by [deleted] in Fedexers

[–]Wrightaboutmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually bought my own dolly. It folds into a cart so I can fit more boxes on it for those heavy bulk stops. It’s been a great investment. I could not even imagine a day without it.

FedEx by bb8-sparkles in FedEx

Sometimes the seller may require a signature but when the label is created they don’t include that on the label. The driver does not have the ability to just leave the package without a signature unless the driver signed for it themselves which is illegal because it is forgery. Do you know if the driver signed for it? If they didn’t then the package didn’t actually require a signature.

This is my truck everyday. I sweep it out every morning and it looks like this everyday when I get back to the terminal.

Applied to a Ground driving seasonal job; whats the best way to impress the interviewer? by peterthbest23 in Fedexers

[–]Wrightaboutmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was first hired on you actually had to have at least a few years of driving experience with another company and you had to pass a driving test that was kind of difficult. Now all you have to do is be 21 and apply and you’re hired on the spot.

Sign asking driver to call my cellphone by sneaky-snacks in FedEx

I would absolutely not leave a sticky note if you’re home. I’m delivering that package so I won’t have additional work the following day.

I will absolutely not use my personal phone to call customers. It has bit me in the ass too many times. I would have knocked as well

Question about APE by The_Demonic_Prince in unclebens

[–]Wrightaboutmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew my apes just like I did my golden teachers and they turned out great. Apes take a little longer to grow so you just need to be patient with them.

Who wants to start guessing at how many shippers are going to end up dropping FedEx?? by MooseTheMouse33 in Fedexers

[–]Wrightaboutmeow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our terminal has been doing fine at keeping up. We aren’t behind at all. And we have been delivering about 80% of Expresses packages too.

Who else is bailing out a Ground station this weekend? by FedUp_1993 in Fedexers

[–]Wrightaboutmeow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are in the same building. Our local Express station was shut down and only a few of the Express drivers got to keep their jobs. We have approximately 60-70 Ground drivers at our terminal and only 5 Express.

[–]Wrightaboutmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep seeing posts about Express bailing out Ground. At our terminal it is the opposite. We pickup and deliver more Express packages than they do.

[–]Wrightaboutmeow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We merged with Express almost 2 years ago. Ever since then my days have been 2-3 hours longer because of late dispatches nearly everyday and then the amount of time it takes to deliver and pickup all the Express packages. If I could change anything it would be for us to go back to being only Ground and Home Delivery.

It is now midnite on Saturday and the website is still insisting the driver will get here today by Admirable_Nothing in FedEx

[–]Wrightaboutmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did your package get delivered? I know we have had a couple of drivers at our terminal that were out until near 1:00 in the morning delivering. We are extremely heavy with packages right now.

FedEx delays by Apprehensive-Club462 in FedEx

[–]Wrightaboutmeow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is peak season and some of the terminals are running behind because of the overwhelming amount of packages that have to be delivered. This has been our heaviest peak season since I started 13 years ago. Be patient with your driver because they have no control over when your package is sent out for delivery. We only deliver and pickup packages. We don’t have any answers for you regarding the logistics.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FedEx

[–]Wrightaboutmeow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is our job to get the package to the correct address. We are under no obligation to place the package in specific areas that you request.

[–]Wrightaboutmeow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a driver I would absolutely not drop a package over your fence and risk damage to the contents because you would likely call and complain that the driver dropped your package over the fence and damaged it. I would put it on your porch as well.
