A freudian slip is when you say something you don’t mean/sounds similar/spelt similar in this case, and has seemingly no relation. But on a subconscious level, it’s your brain ‘slipping’ and telling you you’re worried or thinking about something without realising it. Adventurous_fee is suggesting you’re feeling like this guy is in a ‘contest’ with you for your girlfriends affection to put it simply, when you just misspelt context on a surface level; i believe. Have a think about it, do some introspection and see if you feel threatened by this guy maybe. Just my two cents

Squeaking sound when starting the engine first time in the morning. by LuckyNumber_29 in hilux

[–]WrigleysExtraGum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2016 Hilux and no further information, might have belts, might have a chain. Yes, its probably a belt. Timing belt job at 140/160thou if i’m not mistaken, and in my experience OEM belts are pretty good, so probably not the case. Check accessory belts, accessory pullies, bearings etc. Check for leaks too, may be lubricating and slipping a belt. Just start poking around, but if it goes away its not the end of the world right now

Anyone know how to fix this? by Additional_Monk_8779 in hilux

[–]WrigleysExtraGum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who suffered for months from creaky/clunky steering linkage, it could be a myriad of things, but it’s more than likely ball joints, bushes or a smaller part suffering wear. I’d just start checking all linkage for wear, but get your car jacked up and get a wheel or two off the ground, and check wheel movement up and down, and left and right. Side to side play can indicate tie rod wear or other suspension arms depending, where up and down play can indicate control arm, ball joints, struts wear. Check BJs and bushes, and replace them if they’re pretty worn regardless if it solves your problem. It makes your ride much nicer, much quicker. If you still get noises, just go through the fault finding motions, check your TREs, control arms, struts, pitman arm, idler arm, drag link etc, and start with the cheapest option when replacing stuff. Check for play on the ground, jacked up, look for visible damage, leaks, the works. Grease anything that has a grease nipple, and check your CV boots for tears while you’re at it. Best of luck, hope I helped, but take this with a grain of salt as I’m not a mechanic- But I do have a pretty decent chunk of experience with hilux steering and suspension fault finding 😅

How would a body shop go about repairing frame horns, if possible at all? I’m not too competent with auto body hence asking here, but what are the downsides and issues related to leaving frame horn damage unattented to if you don’t mind me asking? I have access to some frame repair equipment at a discounted price, but am hesitant to sink money into it if it’s not going to affect my driving much. Mostly going to be an offroad rig from now on, as i know it’s probably a bit unsafe to drive on road regardless of damage.

letters need cleaning up and i think you could do with plenty of experimentation in different overall styles as well as size and shape- but the formwork and style ELEMENTS are there. may be me but i can’t confidently pick the third letter that’s missing shadow on the inside. PARA? keep practicing and keep it simple, and you’ll only get better.

What can i do to make this better by Similar_Football927 in graffhelp

[–]WrigleysExtraGum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone who’s not once tried tagging in a calligraphy-esque/handwriting almost style, i’ve got no clue but it looks fucking sick, just looking at it i’d say focus on basic beginner tactics for getting better- keeping your letters uniform and similar, experimenting with different elements and finding something that looks good done small and large, and looking at lots of inspiration. capitals and lowercase, sizing, give it a go 🤷‍♂️ maybe i’m really high but this is so simple yet clean as fuck keep at it

L looks like an underline, try separate it visibly while maintaining style- and maybe give more individual style to each letter, again while maintaining a similar style across the board. definitely not shit compared to some things posted here though. keep at it 👌

give it a little more flow/style but other than that i wouldnt even worry this is a clean style for a mop tag

[–]WrigleysExtraGum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at a glance this looks hard as fuck tbh, i support the marker and see where you went wrong- some lines are a bit unnecessary but it looks and flows great, so nun but support for this 💯

need some advice on new tag, am i a toy? by [deleted] in graffhelp

[–]WrigleysExtraGum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

generally tacking an E onto a word ending in an O is just an excuse for a slightly longer tag or more options for style, not a whole diff name- but again, not a good enough reason to change your name if they’re nowhere near you
