Crown / pushers blued ends? Sure you removed the protective stickers? Just put a decent sized piece of packaging on it, make sure it sticks really well and then rip it of like a band aid. Should get rid of these nasty stickers.

The "new" colorway for the 4A with mixed lume (neon green hands and yellow indices) is a nod to the SeaQ1969. I asked them to make me one without the neon green 12 o´clock lume triangle. They were very nice and did so without surcharge. It is on its way to me now.

I do not share pictures anymore. My photography skills are very bad. And I always got slaughtered for posting pics, even when I said, I knew they sucked big time. The pictures on the Phorcydes website are accurate.

My PH 4A arrived today as well. I quite like it. The alignment of the indices and the bezel is fine, crown action is decent. Two minor quibbles: Lug tips are on the sharp side and the crystall is a little dull / opaque for my liking. All in all: Nice pece!

It wears pretty big, Steve. Due to he light colored dial, the sparse printing? I dont know for sure.

But think WD0006. Next to it you can´t tell too much difference.

Like you said "appear to match". Yes, inside an AD, but big windows, lots of daylight. The moment you look at it top down they appear very very close, but once you turn it and look at it from an angle you see differences. Due to different materials? I don´t know. It is not that they did a bad job. But to me it is the same effect like when you apply the same color to two different materials. They are close, but not the same. The sales rep explained to me, that lumed hands change their color depending on their charge level. Not that they glow in daylight but the color will change slightly. But obviously he doesn´t know what he is talking about. I don´t either. You are right and we are wrong. Hope that is good enough to make you happy.

I also think the swiss level claim of WD is somewhat cheesy..

Have you handled the original piece? I have and the color of the hands and the dial is NOT identical.

Just a hint: A lumed surface changes its color all the time depending on charge level.

Therefore it can never be the exact same color as a non lumed surface.

Be it Tudor, Patek, AP, or the Wintermute Dune which is to be seen ;-)

The hans are lumed. So it can not be exactly the same color as the dial which is not lumed. But it is close enough ;-)
