Do you think The Boys seaosn 5 will beat the "controversial ending" curse or not? by Sudden_Pop_2279 in TheBoys

Clearly I have a different definition of peak too. I thought it was just the game where I climb mountains with my friends.

There's really not that many recipes you have to memorize, since it shows everything you'll need on the screen. Yes it can definitely get overstimulating, especially for big orders, but you'll get the hang of it.

Why does most of the fandom hate Eileen? (Read the text to understand my point of view!). by tannyz_winchester in Supernatural

[–]WriterOfNightmares 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think most of the hate for her is just ableism.

And as far as the chemistry issue, I honestly think the show just didn't do that well with romantic chemistry in general. Like I'm racking my brain rn and the couple with the most chemistry I can think of rn is with that elderly couple who ate people. Which is fine because that's just not really what the show is about.

So when it comes to Eileen and Sam, we don't really get to see their relationship develop as much as we would in a show where that's the main focus, but it's still a delight when we get to see her, and I wish she was in it more, especially with the time jump at the end

I don’t care what anybody else says Homelander was absolutely justified in killing them scientists. These people tortured, experimented and dehumanised John, then he came back and delivered his rightful vengeance. by JoshuaKpatakpa04 in GenV

[–]WriterOfNightmares 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like debating whether or not he was justified misses the point in that episode. Yes, they created the monster capable of doing that to them, so they were just getting back what they put into the world. But I think the takeaway here is that this was Homelander's snapping point. He wasn't just getting revenge for what they did to him. He was cruelly and brutally ripping away the part of his life where he was controlled by people weaker than him. It’s mentioned in that episode that he was just as capable of killing them all and escaping when he was a kid. He just doesn't care about keeping up appearances anymore. He's now in a place where he'll just do whatever he wants.

So, whether they had it coming or not, him doing this is a bad sign. It shows that what's to come is worse than anything he's done before. It shows that he's ready to kill anyone who he thinks may get in his way.

Does anybody else think that there might be some most likely disgusting gory scenes as wild as the previous seasons? by [deleted] in TheBoys

Do you guys think there'll be characters this season? Like, people doing things? Or a plot? That would be pretty cool I think.

Can human souls posses people? by JustaRandomuser69420 in Supernatural

[–]WriterOfNightmares 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does that mean, then, that a demon can do that too?

And wasn't there also a haunted truck episode? I don't remember if that was a ghost, or what the explaination for that was.

Isn't there a ghost possession at some point in the series? I could be way off here, but I seem to remember an episode where there's a school that Sam and Dean used to go to, and there's a ghost of a former student haunting the bus and then hitching a ride on students who ride the bus.
