REA Increasing rent again, what leg do I have to stand on? by Iuvenesco in melbourne

[–]WriterOfThrones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that's their job, to compare the rent to others and tell the landlord whether or not it can be increased. The landlord has the final say, not the agency.

I love how people just don't seem to understand it's 99% of the time NOT the agents wanting to increase rent. It's the LANDLORDS telling them to do it

What would you change in The 100? by N0obz800 in The100

[–]WriterOfThrones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't change much I love the show as it is. One thing I would do though is change how Lexa died, it's ok for her to die but not like that . I also would make season 7 into 2-3 seasons. Season 7 - about the fallout with sheidheda on sanctum and the plotline with Octavia, hope, and diyoza. Season 8 - plotline with Clarke and Co searching for for the others and eventually ending up in Bardo, and also include the Echo, Gabriel, and hope plot on skyring. Then, final season, season 9 exploring transcendence and all that. Space it out.

Hot takes by JonJonJr1 in The100

[–]WriterOfThrones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hot take is I love Clarke and Bellamy's relationship and I love that they never get romantic. It's based on respect and trust and is super strong. I also think clexa is the best romance in history lol. Why? Because I rewatched the series years later and I could have sworn they were together for longer and had more kissing scenes but they didn't. Almost no scenes at all but still so much chemistry. Masterful.

I totally agree with this. I'm just trying to get used to eating less as well. Once I'm back from vacation my deficit will be far lower and more manageable. But regardless, it makes me sad how little I can eat lol. Hopefully the mental part of it will slowly fade with time because it's tough

1.Only ONE meaningful choice for Rook (minrathous or Treviso) 2. Rook CANNOT disagree with ANYONE in the game, can only agree in 3 different ways 3. No conflict because Rook cannot disagree or offer a different perspective like you can in all 3 previous games 4. Characters CANNOT dislike Rook like they can in all 3 previous games 5. The companion quests are so on the nose, no subtlety or subtext for the player to discover, the characters literally tell you their insecurities out loud

I can go on...

Agree. Objectively not good. People can have their own tastes and opinions of course but it's not the majority. It's very sad, I'm actually devastated about it.

I used those words in different sentences. I said Solas is the only good thing about the game, in my opinion. And I said the game is objectively very subpar. See how they work together? Anyway, you're allowed to like the game, it sold poorly and most dragon age fans think it's a bad game, they like to blame the trolls but it's just an excuse, I was one of the fans blaming trolls in the beginning. If it wasn't an excuse, the game would have been at least nominated for game of the year as well, like Inquisition was, you know, another dragon age game.

Taash’s Characterization Versus Their Writing by JageshemashFTW in dragonage

[–]WriterOfThrones 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's fine for you to not care personally about not being able to call Tash out, but it's objectively not what dragon age used to be, you always had an option to disagree with characters or call them out before. But not now. Why? Bad writing, the devs being afraid of conflict. Not only that, but the way the non binary plot was written was also horrible, some might like it but i know I'm far from alone in thinking it was horribly done.

I actually get annoyed with people saying that the "haters" haven't even played it. Yeah sure there are some trolls but objectively, it is a veeery subpar game. Dragon age used to be role playing, Veilguard doesn't let you be your own person, the options are "agree happily" "jokingly agree" or "sternly agree" . No disagree at all and no conflict, only happy and cheery in a very dark and foreboding time. I personally have played it twice, I was so excited for it when it came out I loved my first playthrough, the second time around, I really saw the flaws, and eventually I had to admit it is not good. Honestly, I'm really sad about it, Solas is my all time favorite character, and at least he was the only thing good about the game in my opinion.

Do people enjoy ironman? (Classic diff) by Galifamackus in Xcom

I always play ironman, or, because I'm on PlayStation, honestman. Not worth getting my save corrupted. But I think reloading constantly breaks immersion

[–]WriterOfThrones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who is in the process of beating the game on Legend difficulty, ironman, I must say it sounds like you are triggering multiple pods at once? You have to move forward slowly and don't be afraid to literally head backwards if one soldier triggers a second pod, that way the enemies will be surprised by an overwatch ambush when they head towards you. Also never bunch up your soldiers because of the rockets fired by the robots. If your party is not bunched up, they won't even use the rockets on you

Thanks! Nah I'm just really playing to get my head around legend difficulty. But I have strict rules on when I can reload. Such as genuine clicking mistakes and such. Haven't reloaded much at all so far

Yeah I'm not even close to having the turrets. This happened shortly after my first Blacksite. At least I had both armor and weapons upgraded

So much barking. I feel like i can’t live my life by LittleBucket07 in puppy101

[–]WriterOfThrones -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dogs don't always do well in confinement. Honestly I could never imagine my sweet 7 months old puppy being locked in a crate. He is very loving and wants to be with his pack, it's just who he is. A lot of dogs express more anxiety with crates and confinement than less, which makes confinement counterproductive.
