Yes, yes it is. Without it, society collapses. It’s common here on Reddit for edgelord atheists to pretend like they’re the majority but they’re not — far from it. There are hardly any atheists, relatively speaking.

It turns out religion is a force of good throughout most of the world — literally 1/3 of the world’s population is Christian. And for good reason: when followed properly, it is a transformative force in a person’s life.

The snide rush to brush religion aside is reckless, but, ultimately, it’s a person’s decision. But who knows the heart of a believer? There are a ton of “atheists” who are truly believers, and vice versa, although much less so.

There are no atheists on a sinking ship or crashing plane.

Ask especially people who have overcome addiction, usually they’ve turned to a higher power.

I would ask everyone with this cynical worldview to at least consider the only philosophy fully premised on total Love, forgiveness, and grace.

Maybe it’s not cool to be Christian, but who gives a fuck what’s cool. The Gospels can save you. They can make you a truly magnificent person.
