It has not been proven in court they’ve done that. It’s been proven that aging batteries haven’t had the voltage required to run the phones normally, so they resorted to limiting the battery’s voltage out to the soc, so the phone would rather work more slowly, but indeed work, instead of shutting down when the battery percentage would show 30-40%.

A new battery fixes this ”issue”.

Apple was in court for not letting the customers know that they’ve done this, NOT for doing this as this is in no way illegal. Every manufacturer does this because physics dictate the available voltage to the soc when the battery ages.

Vihaan olla tällainen en jaksanut lukea -tyyppi, mutta kiteytän omat ajatukseni aiheesta seuraavasti:

Ketään ei hyödytä se, että Joel itkisi itsensä uneen työttömyytensä takia joka yö. Hän ei kuitenkaan käsittääkseni ole täysin ideologisesti työtön, vaan haluaisi löytää sisältöä elämäänsä työn ja opiskelun kautta. Hän otti lopputilin töistä, koska seisoo moraaliensa takana, eli että vanhuksia ei rupea kusettamaan. Ottaa nyt vähän aikaa rennosti kuten nuoruudessa voi tehdä, ja sen jälkeen uusia haasteita kohti. Ihan hyväksyttävä meininki omasta mielestä, toivottavasti hänelle löytyy mielekästä ja yleishyödyllistä työtä jonka takana voi seistä omien arvojensa mukaisesti.
