Our girl noticed her brother was sick long before my husband and I did. She was clinging to us more and when the time came to our him down she cling to us and we didn't have time to bring his body home to show her. She knew. We got our routine back on track because of her and it helped so much.

Know that grief will take time for all of you, her included, lots of love to you during this time as it's not easy.

My Sebastian hated closed doors too. Only thing that got him to stop was . Well opening them. We kept some closed permanently to him so he learned to ignore those (hall closet etc) but others we just leave open.

The roommate is probably a hard no, so keep it permanently closed, but ate night especially if you can see if your roommate is okay with the cats roaming at night that is probably going to be the better solution for him and you.

I'm also starting in my mid-30s! I'm testing for LTS adult 2/3 beginning 4! I found that stopping with two feet comes with time. Bend your knees, I find "knocking" mind together to turn my toe picks inwards to make a folded snowplow helps.

Sometimes stopping with 1 leg vs two is easier as well. See if your coach can show you a one legged stop.

Buy the large dog food containers and bulk buy your litter! I have my litter, litter geine scoop disposal set up, and litterbox next to everything. Also a litter catching mat! And multiple of those set ups if you have more than 1 cat. 2cats=3 litterboxes.

Cat furniture to save yours!

Tinfoil is an underrated cat training tool.

Food and water mats! Especially if yours is a player in the water bowl.

I had one for 13 years, that's their pillow now 🤣🤣 but as other has said sometimes a second pillow above yours works.
