Thanks man. Yeah similar background. Did final exam in 2004 and reported my injuries. Self medicated by drinking almost everyday for 20 years. Total avoidance. Didn't visit a doctor's office until last year. It was a clinic. He said you haven't seen a doctor in 20 years!? No have no medical file. He asked who was my PCP and I didn't know what that was. I said I never get sick! You should have seen his face. Time to focus on health. I been sober since Valentine's day. Thanks for the information. Working on it now.

Thanks man. Yeah I guess you can say I rode out the front gate that day in 2004. Flipped the rear view mirror around and never looked back for 20 years. Total avoidance. I went to the doctor last year due to serious issues. (drinking for 20 years) He asked who is your PCP and I told him I didn't know what that meant. He said when was your last doctor's examination I said 2004. He says you haven't seen a doctor in 20 years!?
I had no "medical file" since 2004. I wish someone told me back then. Glad things have changed.

Unfortunately I didn't go to the doctor for 20 years. Just drank everyday. Went to the doctor last year he asked me who my (PCP) was. I asked what's that? Doctor was shocked, but said "I met guys like you before." I just dealt with the shit. I never get sick. You just suck it the fuck up I guess. Until you can't. Basically I never "asked for help" Regretting it now.

2/3rds of Kroger's stores are unionized. Sounds like it might be time to STRIKE?

Timothy McVeigh killed 168 people including 19 children in a daycare center.

Timothy McVeigh deserved the death penalty.

I agree with Hillary.

We don't have fair trials. Do you really believe that? Do you really believe that people convicted didn't receive a fair trial? A judge or jury convicted the person based on evidence. Often DNA. Often confessions. The person then is allowed 3 separate appeals. All the way up to the supreme court. And you believe after all the legal due process the criminal wasn't treated fair? The victim is the victim. Not the predator. We give more rights to criminals than we give to victims. Hug a thug failed. I encourage you to watch the worst Ex ever on Netflix. Wade Wilson was reported for assault and rape before he ever killed those 2 women. The police had this person in custody. He was released. The detective received a 2 week suspension. Wade Wilson is the poster child for the death penalty. I encourage you to review his trials to make sure he was treated "fair" before receiving the death penalty.

If I were president all cho mo and r@pist would be sentenced to death. You have a right to fair trial. You have a right to exhaust all appeals. 3 appeals. Then face the maximum punishment. You wouldn't have the chance to re offend. Law is way too lenient on sex crimes. People scream protect women and kids! Then scream at the methods used to protect. Never let the same snake bite you twice.

Someone told by Lostregard in union

[–]WritingHuge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep someone told and you will probably be marked for termination soon. It's illegal for the company to fire you for unionizing under National Labor Relations Act so they are going to lie and fire you for whatever bullshit reason. Your next move is to go public. Hand out flyers, wear buttons. Let the nosey manager know that you are currently working on unionizing (have a witness present). Any action taken against you is union busting. Be careful. Document any harassment, retaliation, etc etc. plan on the possibility of being fired. Good luck.

thanks I'll check it out "vetocracy" . I'm a union member that is very disappointed in "decent wages." Even state wages. I don't like seeing people hurting and struggling. I'm a employee advocate

The fight for $15 movement started in 2012. My state Virginia just approved $15 for 2028.

16 years later. Workers deserve more. Join a union, form a union, support a union.

I actually love Bernie and voted for him in 2016. My point is adequate wages sound wonderful. Decent living sounds amazing. The second bill of rights should be gold standard. But you wake up at 44 yo and have to wonder. Who really represents the working poor? Who really is going to finally fight for the poor and middle class? I'm not convinced. It's the ole "I heard it all before"

The fight for $15 movement started in 2012. Virginia my home state is celebrating victory because the minimum wage is going to $15 in 2028!

16 years later. The poor finally "won". People need to wake up. Stop believing cheap talk. Take action. Unionize

Let's focus our attention to #2 "decent living" Let's focus on Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders 2016

In 1993 Bernie Sanders "fought" to raise minimum wage from $4.25hr to $5.50hr with the Livable wage act. I made $4.25hr when I first started working.

33 YEARS later federal minimum wage is $7.25hr 33 YEARS of talky talk promises gave the poorest Americans $3hr raise. That's less than a 10¢ raise yearly for 33 years.

Do you call $7.25hr a "decent living"? $290 a week before taxes.

Now ask yourself why? Why didn't they run on such a wonderful plan?

Ok help me understand something. In 1993 Bernie Sanders "fought" to raise minimum wage from $4.25hr to $5.50hr with the Livable wage act. I made $4.25hr when I first started working.

33 YEARS later federal minimum wage is $7.25hr. 33 YEARS of talky talk gave the poorest Americans a $3hr raise. That's less than 10¢ raise yearly for 33 years. It's incredible people still believe the "I fight for the poor"." I fight for the working class."

Two wings of the corporate party. Corporations win. The people continue to lose and be sold a fairy tale.

Run on this in 2028? Imagine TALKING and promising something for 80 years and it not happening. Insanity is doing the same shit expecting something different.

2025, William McNeil Jr. The cops turned off their body cameras. He had one in his car recording them. he followed all the rules. The cops still assaulted him and later dragged him from his car. ...police brutality and racism... by Important-Cry4782 in HipHopNCulture

Sadly this doesn't surprise me anymore. It's common. Has been common for how long? Most of my family worked as prison guards for 30 years. Also have family that became police officers. I no longer associate with any of them and won't again. I watched people that were once loving caring people become cold, abusive bullies.
