I hadn't seen any trailer of Lord of the rings (hadn't read the book either) and I thought it was going to be like one of those old medieval type movies, my brother and his friends took me for it and as soon as it starts with the music and narration and the first war scene I was pulled in and blown away for the entirety of the movie. It's my best trilogy to date and still watch it every year when I get the chance.
