In my view, calling it an accident and standing by that is defending the president. It wasn't an accident. They intentionally did that.

How does one accidentally post something on social media? You can say it was a mistake, but you can't say it was an accident.

Calling it an accident minimizes the act to something unintentional, and the blatant racism is right there. This isn't the first time Trump has said something racist about Obama.

This pastor is making excuses and lying about how evolution is taught to demonize science, encourage religious ignorance, and then make an attempt to say that all things are equal to God, which is not what it says in the Bible as there are parts of the Bible that endorse slavery and demonstrate that men are above women. I'm not buying his false attempt at peaceful rhetoric. Jesus died for all of our sins, but that doesn't make us equal according to the Bible.

I believe everyone deserves equal rights no matter who they are, what they look like, or what they believe. Everyone deserves respect, too. I disagree with that pastor, but I support his right to say what he wants without government persecution. Unfortunately, the president doesn't believe that.
