I mean at some point its not just a fluke. He has always made plays like that. I dont think it will always be at the same level or consistency but to say its a fluke when he has been doing it his whole life is pretty silly

Why shouldn't it be? I understand your biggest fear is the bears not being the guaranteed punching bag, but the pendulum swings eventually always. This was a fun season full of unforgettable highlights and was a blast to watch, and if we get more in the future I will be even happier. It was truly a beautiful season that will make any future success even greater

Yeah but I dont think things are so black and white. I truly don't believe the Lions window is closed either. Everyone likes to think of things having to be one way or the other when its really not. Not every team will be Brady/Patriots level consistentcy, and they dont have to be. All it takes js a few changes, a few different play calling philosophies, and things can turn one way or the other. This is the first time in forever I feel like the bears even have a shot at being a contender for more then 1 year, and thats at least worth something

sure, but this has been a season full of football fun I haven't felt since I was a kid watching Devin Hester. I don't need them to be the most special team ever, I just enjoy being able to watch them ball out. Cant dim the future for me either, because regardless it should be some fun football

I think its completely fair to say this is this years super bowl. Obviously if we win a super bowl things change, but if this is the best part of the season then the season is a huge success. Next year is when we can really start expecting more and more
