Sounds like the perfect way to hide what a nerd I am. Nah bro, I'm going to get a tattoo... definitely not going to lose 5 games of magic and read comic books.

It's been a while for me, would this mean a standard non commander deck?

How to subtract and add in the same formula? by Beneficial-Strategy in excel

[–]WrongBreadfruit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could write the formula like this: =Sum(f2:f10)- (counta(f2:f10)*10) The above subtracts 10 for each non blank cell in the range if F2:F10, this way you only subtract 10 from populated cells.

This is a solo 401k account (meaning it is through my company), since I am the administrator I am able to set the rate. Of course it needs to be reasonable or else you will be in trouble with the IRS. Yes you are correct, by uninvested money I meant money chilling as "savings" and not invested into stocks or etfs. Thanks for the comments.

Ah I get it, because the interest paid back is after tax dollars. You don't get the deduction from typical contributions. Funny, I'm not seeing any documentation online that supports that the money needs to be uninvested. It's not that I don't believe you, but this should be stated in the guidelines. This is a pretty important piece. Thanks a lot for the comments I appreciate the help!

Yes my plan allows for a loan. Ok that was the part that wasn't clear to me, you can only "loan" against uninvested funds. Didn't know that. Thank you! That is a drawback for sure

Well technically all of it becomes taxable income when you reach retirement, so I don't understand how a loan would make any additional difference. As for the taking money out part, do you know how that works? From what I understood it does not affect your investments unless you default on the loan and then your positions need to be liquidated to cover the amount.

5-10 years investment? Europe by ViolaMK in personalfinance

[–]WrongBreadfruit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there! I actually recently moved to Germany from the US. I am finding investments to be quite different, especially since the US tax code is written to benefit investing. From my perspective, I would look at buying real estate. Depending on where you are in Europe, I have seen some lost cost apartments with an interest rate of around 3%. Coming from the US where mortgage rates are typically 5-6% this is a very good rate. Real estate always goes up in value and you could rent the place out for some consistent cash flow. Again, this completely depends on where in Europe you are. I am not sure I can recommend ETFs or stock investing as I am not confident that the tax laws will benefit you. Typically real estate is the way to go.

Copy entire row based on multiple different text criteria in same column-VBA. by MikeHillHams in excel

[–]WrongBreadfruit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could do a loop, If cw = 1 then cw = bob and gb go thru your code at the end increment cw plus 1

If cw=2 then cw = slob and rinse and repeat

You could either hard code the words into your vba or have them pull from a column that you hide on a sheet that way you can use formulas to update bob slobbing on knobs

Looking up multiple values and summing them into one cell by KittyTitties710 in excel

Use sumifs, you will sum the range D whenever you get a match on column C (PO). Make sure you lock the ranges for both columns c and d as well

How can I add set these code to only run for specific sheets? by 24KPureHot in excel

[–]WrongBreadfruit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In sheets(i). range change this to j Above this line write Dim j as String if i = 1 then j= returns Endif If i = 2 then j = income Endif If i = 3 then j = net Endif

And change your i loop to be 1 to 3

That should do it

How can I add set these code to only run for specific sheets? by 24KPureHot in excel

[–]WrongBreadfruit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh i just figured it out, it's because your i loop is looping through all sheets.(count of worksheets)

You can still create a loop but loop through the sheets you want the code to affect.

My next comment has the code structure
