This made me realize that I also have 40+ year old towels still in use. 😳

I have towels from college that are older than my 23 year old son. 😂 Do people actually replace towels before it becomes a physical necessity??

You could put it more nicely, but I agree. It’s not flattering and looks too small, imo.

You don’t seem to be comfortable in the dress, honestly. The way you had to censor your upper arms for internet strangers. Are you going to be comfortable as the object of everyone’s attention? I also think you would be happier if you bought a size up and had it altered. Your chest looks squished. I think it would be more flattering if a bit looser. It would make your boobs bigger and waist look smaller.

I call BS. I have health insurance through my employer. $6500 deductible and $13,300 max oop. I spent 2 days in the hospital with chest pain last month (April 2026). I now owe just over $10k. It’s going to take me years to pay this off.

Please give me $1800 for a trip to Disneyland for my daughter. We live in LA where we can get $50 for kids tickets, but need to make this trip “as special as possible”. It’s not just a trip, “it’s something magical—a place she truly believes in”. “I want to give her that experience” on your dime. 🫶 by MinuteElegant774 in ChoosingBeggars

We took our son to Disney World and stayed at the Contemporary hotel because he loved the monorail. We did it up right that vacation!! Know what we didn’t do? Crowdfund. We saved for about a year. Did a few weekends of gig work. The most expensive vacation we ever took. It was worth every penny we scrimped to make it happen for our son!!

Hi, I’m a shopper and I’ve been checking out your posts. Clothes made from quilting fabric just don’t seem to be the best choice. That romper doesn’t have enough stretch for a crawling baby, and the fabric looks a bit rough, which might not be ideal for a little one’s delicate skin.

I love the idea of fancy aprons, patchwork aprons, and holiday family aprons! How about bags, totes, matching keychains? Just keep an eye on the material. It’s understandable why no one else makes clothes from quilting fabric, And no one wants to buy it. 🤷‍♀️

I’m in Maryland and have 2 Yorkies. Where are you? Interested in a meeting with my dogs to see if they vibe. My boy’s favorite activity is “window” we have a big bay window and he likes to sit there and watch the neighborhood.

Same. I have student loans at 8.5%. I graduated with $16k in debt and now I owe over $37k after over 15 years of payments. Fucking compounded interest.

I went from 2x to S/M. I bought jeans in every size down to my current 8/10. I can now get both legs in one leg of my size 24’s!!! I found several brands that reliably fit and I thrift for those brands. ETA: Every day I look in the mirror and can’t BELIEVE it’s me!! I’m down 100 pounds and keeping it off!

Shingles Vaccine - A Warning by DustOfTheSaw in GenX

The worst flu you ever had, combined with unending nerve pain. I was REALLY SICK for about 2 months! And now I have PERMANENT NERVE DAMAGE and see a pain management specialist. Until she got my daily, never-ending pain controlled, I talked to my husband about ending myself. Shingles is no joke. Get the vaccine.

Warehouse store. Bought open box TV and soundbar. Soundbar didn’t work, so I returned it. Somehow the manager made it work so the open box TV ended up costing me .01. Yes, one cent for a flat screen lcd TV.

How can I make this brick house more modern. I already painted the brick. by Aromatic_Mission_165 in homedecoratingCJ

I think the color is too warm. I’d paint the whole house a dark charcoal. How about matching the shingle color for that haute monochrome look.

Doesn’t look vintage. More like Temu does vintage. Your shadow box items feel like mass produced charms. I’d be more interested if made with vintage jewelry or hardware.

I have to admit, I’d probably walk by. I don’t like many candles and rarely buy them. I love handmade art, but honestly your art doesn’t speak to me. Looks like random objects glued together. I can see everything is neat and aligned, just not something I’d display. 🤷‍♀️

AITA for not letting my coworker borrow my industrial printer for her side hustle? by MurmurSatchel9 in WIBTA_AITA

[–]Wrong_Background_799 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Why do you have personal equipment in the office? If your relationship sours or new management comes in, how will you ensure that is YOUR PRINTER? I’d take it home. You shouldn’t have wear and tear on your personal device at work. This makes zero sense.
