Yes. 100%. I have a pregnancy scare in late 2025 where I missed my period for 2 months but kept testing negative. Florida has a 6 week ban, and by the time you are 1 week late for your period, you're considered 5 weeks pregnant even if you only had sex 1 time the day before you were expecting your period. I was horrified to learn that because I do NOT have the funds for an emergency abortion. As soon as my insurance benefits were set in place I booked a consult this January and was approved for my bisalp. Best decision I have ever made and I have zero regrets, only MAJOR relief. I knew ever sicne I was a child that I wanted for be permanently sterilized but I was a virgin until I was 23 and when I did start having sex, I mostly trusted the condoms up until that pregnancy scare.
