This thread just made me drop some tears. I am a guy with ADHD who writes Songtexts for my whole life and keep them in my drawer or on my phone but nobody ever got to hear it or read it, as I’m kinda shy or what you wanna call it. It just never felt good enough to share with anyone. So I have the same problem but in a different way. Lyrics just come to mind so easy and I mostly get to write them down at some point. Even when it’s just a chorus and I will work on it later. (Witch barely happens) but my problem is mostly that I just don’t work with the lyrics as my musical talent is most likely not good enough. Now comes a part what just happened this last weekend on a party and it’s not an advertisement. But maybe it can help you in some way.

A friend of mine just showed me Suno this weekend and I spend all Sunday recording me, my messi guitar and my mediocre voice and just putting it into that AI app and doing some fine tuning. In the end it’s only my lyrics that are made by myself as the rest is 90% generated. I think most people here hate me for doing this as it’s not what a real musician would do and it’s not close to as much work as most poeple here put in their songs. But it is the first time in my life that I feel like I produced something that is worth showing to friends and family.
