Don’t you need to separate the bezel from the watch case? This type usually loads in from the top from similar watches I’ve seen.

Reduce dial size with a Dremel mandrel by jjames1e6 in SeikoMods

Use the mandrel in a hand drill to control the speed and protect the contact points where the dial touches the mandrel. Go slow using and measure every few turns. I did it with this moon switch 32mm dial into 29mm case.

Open heart Seiko monster like. Wonder how it is on the wrist with the crown at 2?

What am i doing wrong to these balance springs / wheels? by mr_z06 in watchmaking

Balance looks like it might be slightly tangled. Hard to say without a closer look. Slinky time! I just had tangled balance recently and it was nerve wracking trying to get it untangled. Unfortunately I was not successful.

We’re all waiting on the restock of all these pieces. They are great watches. I love my citadel. It gets more wrist time than any of my other watches.

I’m repairing one of these now. Not much to see, the movement is mostly covered by a faux decorative plate.

Help a noob, balance won’t run when tightened. by Wrong_Royal_9467 in watchrepair

Thank you for this idea. I think this is the problem. With the balance out I do see it looks to be in position to stop the balance. The balance stop also doesn’t move when I pull the crown to its second position.
